My family was in the midst of a very long and stressful transition when we signed with The Charleston Apartment group. There were last minute issues with our move-in, but these two ladies worked diligently to solve them. They not only worked to smooth the problems, but also were very kind to me as I almost broke with the weight of what seemed like an impossible situation. I just want to say “thank you” for treating me with compassion.
- JSJonathan ShearerOct 17, 20252.0This review is based on my several years of experience in the apartment leasing/maintenance industry: An elderly and handicapped friend of mine has lived here for several years, and EVERY TIME I visit there are people (often the same people) with no handicap placard or plate taking up one or both handicap spaces that my friend truly needs, and nothing is ever done about it. The gates to the complex don't work more often than they do, so I wouldn't necessarily consider it a gated community. There have been several serious safety issues in my friend's unit that were reported but not addressed hy staff for 6-18 months which is a flagrant violation of ADA and federal housing laws. There have also been multiple floods in the building, and the repairs done after the flood abatement were lackluster. In my personal/professional opinion, the rental rates are a bit too high for the unit quality and services provided, and the management and maintenance could do a WHOLE LOT BETTER serving their community, especially the elderly and handicpped.

Everyone is the leasing office are so nice and friendly answered every question we had and are very communicative with any updates. Maintenance request are always taken care of in a timely manner. I love how walkable this complex is especially for my dogs

For an apartment complex I find it very peaceful with lots of walkable areas and trails. They truly mean it when they said they are pet friendly. Our dogs have enjoyed it so far as well.
