They got around rent hike limits by charging people another 40$ a month for water instead of letting us handle it through utilities like we were doing for electric and gas. I hope these reviews stick around after they've driven everybody away to build more expensive places and it drives the value down.

Otherwise, Golden Rule Real Estate is by far the worst real estate management company I've ever dealt with. They also put in a rather unenforceable "mutual" Non Disparagement Clause in the lease agreement trying to silence bad reviews. Please spare yourself the anxiety and look elsewhere for housing.
