  Actual honest uncompensated review Lived here for 3.5 years in a 1 bed unit in building 1 and a 2 bed unit in building 2 Building 2 was constructed very quickly and has a ton of issues in the units (confirmed by a maintenance supervisor). I had to wait over 3 months for a fix for my tub that would creak insanely loudly when showering bc there was no padding between it and the unit below me. They hire the cheapest contractors they can find and the work usually takes forever and ends up needing additional repairs. I’ve seen over 4 maintenance supervisors come and go because there’s so much to be done and management doesn’t want to pay to make the complex worth the cost. My AC would leak at least twice a month and they’d “fix” it by just cleaning it. Lately the property has become much more unsafe at night with groups of people walking around and fights happening in the hotel parking lot next door. The security service responded fairly promptly but they weren’t always patrolling. A unit near me got their door kicked in, and even my door frame looked like it had been before and painted over. The walls floors and ceilings are pretty thin as I could hear the person above me’s TV and music constantly. And only barely over all the loud cars racing in the bridge street parking garage every night. Each year an amenity would go away/break and nothing would be done. The pool heater didn’t work for an entire year and I was told the parts were in to fix it but management didn’t want to continue maintaining it. The grill caught fire and collapsed and I was told one was ordered, but then months later the maintenance supervisor told me he had “just ordered one”. The smoker was abused and eventually broke but was never replaced. All of this, and never any refund for the amenity fee. You pay $35/month for someone to pickup your trash at your door, but that person’s company can charge you fees for the silliest of reasons and seleno “can’t do anything about it”. They’d constantly rip my trash bag and charge me a fee, while also just not taking the trash some nights. I moved out 2 months before my lease ended, and when I got my final bill my water charge was for over $100 for those two months. The two months the place was completely unoccupied. They said I had to call the company they use to charge for utilities and that company said to call the apartment and Seleno said that “the meters are working correctly” and then stopped responded to me. I’m sorry but I don’t think i could’ve even used $100 in water if I left all the faucets running. All of this aside, it’s a good location being close to the mall and research park, management was usually nice and there were times that they’d be very helpful. But I think management needs to put more effort into improving resident satisfaction.

  We have lived at Seleno for close to 6 months now. We've greatly enjoyed how beautiful our Apartment is, the mere fact that they stayed in touch with us to make sure we obtained the property area we desired, how extremely professional and kind Chelsea has been to us, how professional and caring Eugene (The Maintenance Professional) has been to make sure our apartment is well cared for quantifies how much we've love living here. The amenities are exceptional, clean and well kept as well. We proudly tell our friends and family about Seleno. (Nope, we were not paid for this review :)

  Very poor experience while trying to lease an apt. Made multiple scheduling mistakes with no proper directions.

  I have had nothing but a positive experience during the complete process. Ask for Brittney in the lease office as she has helped me through the complete process. She has been fantastic at replying to my emails and notes. The property is beautiful and you can’t beat the location!!!! Happy Hour in walking distance.....
