I submitted a request to fix the bathroom light, and they responded the same day! David came and replaced it with a new one.
Really appreciate the prompt service—thank you, David!

DO NOT MOVE HERE
I would rate this place 0 stars except Google won't let me.
Also, most of the recent positive reviews are by staff members of the property management company.
Highlights:
- AR-15 Shooter
- Bugs Everywhere
- Terrible Ownership
- No Company Organization (Constantly Had to Ask for Things Multiple Times)
- "Renovated" Doesn't Mean What You Think
- No Respect by Neighbors for Publicly Shared Places
- Stole Money They Promised to Us (Told us we would get the second month's rent free, then put in our contract it was the third month, so that when we didn't pay on the second month because we were expecting to not have to, they used it as grounds to retract the offer.)
I was going to write a long review based on the copious notes I took while living here, but instead I'm just going to post the notes as the rest of my review.
Here are my notes:
December 1-14: send in check for lease, ridiculous security deposit worth 1 full month’s rent, we put a deposit down for an apartment in a different building but are unable to because it’s not listed on the website but they tell us to put an application in for a different apartment and they’ll “change it over on their end”, they never did and we signed a lease for an apartment different from the one we wanted but they wouldn’t change the lease, and then we were unable to see the apartment before moving in because it’s “being renovated”.
December 15: lease begins and I finally get to see the apartment. Huge fireplace in the middle of the den that was not part of the paper layout we had to go by.
December 17: I get to look at the apartment for the first time with power. I check the apartment and see issues with doors and mantle and toilet seat and I put a work order in with the front office.
December 20: I re-ask the office to get the maintenance people to the apartment to
January 3: maintenance comes and fixes double doors and replaces the toilet seat. Tells me to put in a request for maintenance for the wall sockets and they will get to it “first thing tomorrow morning”
January 3: I ask the front office to get maintenance out to replace 16 stripped wall sockets
January 10: I ask the front office to get maintenance to come and clean out the air duct behind the dryer because our dryer keeps shutting off. Front office also tells me they probably haven’t come because “there are people with more emergent issues.” And proceeds to imply that multiple residents are living without heat - which is concerning given how these apartments are supposed to be “renovated.”
January 17: called main office to see if they could get someone to fix the dryer air vent. Doorknob fell off front door. It was screwed the wrong way. Screws were on the outside so anyone could get into the apartment.
February 7: called the front office to ask about bug problem, door flooding, outlets, and dryer not working. No maintenance worker has shown up since January 18.
February 13: maintenance came to fix double doors, bug guy sprayed pest control in obscene amounts all over the floorboards, they dropped off the “box” that our dryer hose would go into as opposed to fixing the actual problem.
March 13: Downstairs neighbors double doors leaking (they put a “tarp” on our porch to try and stop the water from getting in their apartment as opposed to fixing their doors like they should have. It lasted less than a week.) They still haven’t come to fix any more of the outlets.
March 23: My wife and I woke up to multiple gunshots at 2AM. Police arrived on scene. Eventually found out it was an angry boyfriend who fired an AR-15 style gun at the building beside ours. Management never reached out to check on us. No one even notified the apartment complex of the incident. They swept it under the rug and hoped it stayed that way.
September 9: No call. Guy shows up to get the portable air conditioner while I’m napping. Just walks in and comes into my bedroom while I'm still asleep.
Other Issues:
- Wasp nest
- Outlets (16/20+ stripped)
- Master bath air vent
- Mold in bedroom (exacerbating wife’s allergies)

The customer service is very responsive and respectful, but the down fall is the ability to actually fulfill a work order. It’s taken numerous calls and visits, to actually have anything be fulfilled. A simple task of changing outlets and its respective covers shouldn’t take 2 months.

I usually don’t leave reviews on here no matter what the experience was at any place I’ve even been but this is by far the worst property under incompetent management staff I’ve ever seen in my life.
The property is infested with bugs, rodents and mold. The property manager is very disrespectful, dishonest, condescending and arrogant. If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is not a good place to stay it’s like living in the projects (ghetto) in Hoover.
Things to consider:
The property has sever water damage, gaps in all the walls, counters and cabinets , a/c doesn’t works more times than often, refrigerators and appliances damaged, holes in walls and doors, faulty wiring (that might shock you if used), poor plumbing and terrible pipes that floods the apartment. Balcony doors can not be locked meaning entry of any unit can be accessed from outside of the apartment.
(I was once told personally by management not to use my dishwasher or washer machine because it was causing the residence underneath me to flood). The maintenance is terrible and does not know how to fix a third of the problems the property is facing.
something to take into consideration prior to making a decision to move- in this dysfunctional place is do you really want to deal with all of those problems for the amount you will be paying.
