I have lived here for two years, and I can confidently say you can find better. With management actively pushing renewals and new leases, I strongly encourage prospective residents to reconsider. In August 2024, I noticed mold in my unit for the first time. Management’s response was inadequate: they cut a small hole in the wall and placed a fan blowing air into the wall cavity with no exit point and no dehumidification. Over the following months, I continued to notice mold spots, but based on how poorly the initial situation was handled, submitting another maintenance request felt pointless. In July 2025, I returned to my apartment and discovered mold actively growing inside a vanity cabinet. I immediately submitted a maintenance request and asked that someone come on Monday morning, as I needed to return home for work. A maintenance worker arrived and simply sprayed MoldX on the area, stating he would return with a dehumidifier. During this time, I talked to my dad, a licensed general contractor, who advised that all affected drywall needed to be removed. When the maintenance worker returned, he spoke to my dad, and we were told the head of maintenance would follow up with us. That never happened. Communication from the property manager at the time, Stacy, was slow and incomplete, and she failed to provide photos we had repeatedly requested. Eventually, one of my roommates sent me photos of the removed drywall and vanity, which were clearly covered in black mold. Despite this, the area was closed back up without verifying that the moisture levels were safe. The work was messy, unprofessional, and failed to address the root cause. As anyone familiar with mold knows, spores spread quickly. It wasn’t until we threatened legal action that management finally brought in a third-party professional, something we had requested from the beginning. If you are looking for a clean and safe place to live, especially if you have asthma or mold allergies, The Mill is not it. This is not simply a management communication issue; it is a serious building and maintenance problem. That said, I want to be clear that the maintenance staff themselves are helpful. This situation was beyond their authority and ultimately reflects failures at the management and building levels. PS: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!

DO NOT CHOOSE THE MILL - coming from someone who used to enjoy it here. I’ve dealt with an extremely unsafe and disruptive roommate situation that has gone on for months. Despite repeatedly reporting clear violations of the lease, escalating safety concerns, and providing detailed documentation, management has consistently responded with delays, vague promises of “looking into it,” and no meaningful action. Their approach has made it clear that they prioritize keeping a problem tenant over protecting the well-being of the other residents. We even completed a mediation session with previous management, but the issues continued. My roommate remains volatile, confrontational, and unpredictable at home — yet becomes perfectly polite in front of management, which they seem to accept at face value. Instead of addressing the ongoing pattern, management keeps suggesting redundant steps or trying to shift the burden back onto me, even though I’m the one reporting safety concerns. Living here has been stressful, exhausting, and at times genuinely frightening. The lack of timely intervention or accountability from the office has made the situation feel completely unmanageable. I’ve lost confidence that the property is willing or able to protect its residents, enforce its own policies, or respond appropriately when a tenant is being harmed by another. I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision before signing a lease. If you value safety, responsiveness, and competent management, look elsewhere.

Always love it here! The staff are friendly and super helpful, it’s always quiet and calm, and the complex is well maintained. My only negative has been the internet, the random crashing or major slow down is very inconvenient and has been happening pretty frequently lately.
