  Working with Kaitlyn at Clayton Homes has honestly been such a good experience. From the beginning she was easy to talk to, patient, and never made us feel dumb for asking questions (and we had a lot). She explained everything in a way that made sense and was always quick to respond when something came up. Buying a home can feel stressful, but she really helped keep us grounded and confident through the process. We’re so thankful for her help and would recommend her to anyone looking at Clayton Homes.

  I wish I could give negative stars. The total lack of any good quality craftsmanship is unbelievable. Our 8yr old double wide has been in renovation for 8yrs. The foundation was never anchored. We brought that to your attention and you sent us to the company that didn’t do it the first time. And guess what we shouldn’t have had to deal with them just for them to never show up to do it the 2nd time. We had to pay additional $1700 of something we already paid for. The plumbing from the master bath to the septic wasn’t ran at the correct angle which cost 2k in repairs. The crappy quality tubs that were installed have cracks and aren’t installed correctly either. Since when is a piece of pvc supposed to be used as a structural component to support corners of the tub. See attached. Our front and back door were recently replaced and the amount of scraps pieces of wood just shoved in the frame of the house was over 20lbs. With it not being sealed correctly it caused stink bugs to settle in and die which released an odor no one should have to smell. The roof has to be completely replaced due to stables and nails backing out. Not due to storms or wind but nails and staples backing out. That’s 14k. The hot water heater had to be replaced for the 2nd time. 1st time was right when we moved it nov 2017 the “brand new” water heater was rusted out and leaked. The next water heater was replaced in 2024. One of the bathrooms will have to go through a remodel due to poor craftsmanship. The toilet was cracked and leaked through but yall only saw fit to replace the easy wall. Not the wall that needed to be replaced. The flooring throughout both sides is not centered by any means. The flooring throughout joists are crooked. The plywood on top of the joints aren’t played correctly which causing creaking and makes you feel like you’re going to fall through the floor.
