Beautiful units, friendly people, no parking.
We have really enjoyed our space at the podium apartments, the service staff and exceptional hospitality from the maintenance crew.
I am really disappointed in the parking situation. You are allowed 1 primary vehicle which is granted a parking spot (ours is at the back of the building and there are no back doors to access it), your secondary vehicle is granted a “Flex spot” which is basically a visitor parking spot that you pay $40 a month for but are not guaranteed anywhere to park. Let me be clear, if you work until 4:00 there WILL NOT be a place for you to park. And there is nowhere to park outside of the complex. It’s a huge issue. On top of that you are only allowed 4 visitor passes a month. I sound bitter, however I have a baby under 1 and the sales person told me I would get a spot outside my unit, and it was a selling point.
Ask lots of questions on availability of parking stalls, price and rules around parking.

My friend and I recently attended a viewing at Podium Apartments by Deveraux and we were not impressed with the customer service. From the start, the leasing agent came across as combative and unwelcoming. We asked simple questions about pricing, layouts, and incentives and were met with passive-aggressive responses.
The advertised incentives also do not apply to all units, which was only clarified during the viewing. This should be communicated upfront, as it makes the process feel misleading and a waste of time.
The property itself is nice, but the experience was let down by poor communication and unprofessional customer service. At the end of the tour, the agent was visibly frustrated and rolled her eyes at us, which was unacceptable.

I just did a viewing at this property and was not pleased with the customer service that our leasing agent provided. I went with my friend who is looking to rent and our leasing agent was combative and unfortunately not very welcoming from the beginning of our tour. We asked straight forward questions regarding pricing, layouts, etc., and we were met with passive aggressive retorts.
This property is also falsely advertising incentives that do not apply to the entire property, which she explained to us that it would be communicated upon viewing and not prior, which I feel is a waste of time for a prospect. She seemed frustrated that we were questioning the advertising of the units compared to what the actual price/incentives for the units she was showing us. The team should do a better job of communicating clearly prior to viewings what to expect.
The property itself is very nice. It’s a shame that their agent was not nice to us, we would’ve been more interested in signing a lease had she provided better customer service, and if their advertising was honest.

We really like this apartment—the building is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, and the management team is generally cooperative and helpful; however, the parking situation is extremely frustrating and the reason for this 1-star review. In just two months of living here, we’ve faced repeated issues with others parking in our assigned spot despite paying for it monthly, and in harsh weather this becomes even worse as we’re forced to search for flex parking, which is hard to find and far from the building. We followed the proper process and reported the issue, but long wait times don’t resolve it, leaving us with no option but to get vehicle towed, which is unpleasant. The most disappointing part is that management is aware of residents misusing others’ parking spots but still takes no strict action, creating ongoing inconvenience for those following the rules. We’ve also spoken to other residents facing the same issue, so this is clearly not isolated and needs urgent attention, as it significantly impacts the overall living experience. Honestly, I wish I could give 0 stars for this parking issue—if you truly want to improve residents’ experience, this needs to be resolved as soon as possible with strict action from management instead of leaving residents to deal with towing, paperwork, and constant inconvenience.

Leasing team will lie and .ale promises they cant keep. Ask everyone who was told they could store tires in front of their car in the under
ground or on balconies. Daily e-mails lately threatening those who even have a bike on their balcony.
Parking is next to impossible at this development and they mislead you during the sales pitch. Visitor parking is brutal, so if that matters run away.
Management does unfair things like schedule in advance a day to clean the underground and then give literally minutes notice it's changed to same day. It took me 10 mins from email getting delivered to get to the underground. They were power washing (and sand blasting my car) already. What a mess.
The units are finished with the cheapest of everything. White "quartz" countertops that are low quality and easily stain, shower that has little pressure and low flow, loud appliances, sliding patio door squeals, bathroom vents hardly move air.... my list could go on.
Worth mentioning I hear every step of my upstairs neighbor. I have been woken up by the upstairs neighbor walking around their bedroom at night.
The building charges a premium to have a dog. They make you pay for a DNA test, supposedly so they can determine who isn't picking up poop -- meanwhile there is poop all over the property, even smeared on sidewalks. They certainly aren't running tests because no one even cleans up the landmines that are all over the place.
But hey, everyone I have met - staff and residents are really nice. When I submit maintenance requests, they normally respond rapidly so I know it could be worse. I had such high hopes but it's pretty disappointing.
