  City Search has been an outstanding management company to work with here in Edmonton. They’re organized, responsive, and genuinely care about the properties they oversee. Every time we’ve had a question or needed something clarified, they’ve gotten back to us quickly and with real solutions, not just canned replies. We’ve been especially happy with the work they recently completed in St. Albert. The porches turned out beautifully. You can tell their team pays attention to details and takes pride in what they do. The whole process felt easy on our end because they kept us updated and handled everything smoothly. It’s refreshing to work with a company that follows through on what they promise. City Search has earned our trust, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, reliable management team.

  We rented our property with Citisearch in Calgary.After we received our property back, they sent us a statement claiming we owed them money. However, upon thorough examination, we discovered several errors and double charges. ​We wrote multiple emails to Citisearch, expecting the statement to be corrected for CRA Tax purposes, but they simply ignored our communication. Furthermore, they did not even pay the contractors involved despite charging us for their work and already deducting money from the rent. ​This lack of responsiveness felt incredibly short-sighted and unprofessional. We are in process of re-renting our property again, but due to the significant issues we faced with Citisearch especially right now on the end, we will absolutely be using a different company.

  I have recently started renting from city search and the whole process of booking a viewing to getting approved to moving in was really easy and was stress free to move in. Agatha is awesome to deal with. So easy to contact if there are any issues. Had an issue with a shower and they had the repair guy come that day to fix the problem. Very happy to deal with citysearch and to rent here. Have already been telling friends about the great experience and the awesome townhouse im renting. Thank you Agatha for everything!!!   City Search has been absolutely amazing to work with. From the very beginning, their communication has been quick, clear, and professional. Any questions or concerns were handled right away, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. The team at City Search is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in both the property and the people they work with. Maintenance requests were completed fast, inspections were thorough, and they always kept me updated throughout the process. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that shows this level of care and reliability. I highly recommend City Search to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient property management company. They make everything stress-free and seamless. Five stars without hesitation!

  Our rental experience with Citysearch started out good in May/25 – with us putting in lots of Melds but getting quick replies & good service from their vendors. Generally, these were for repairs that we feel ( having owned a house ourselves) should have been done by the owner prior to our move-in. Our list just kept growing. When you sign on with Citysearch, they have a $35 amenity fee / month that covers 9 specific commitments – their foundation to serving us. You still have to pay regardless if they are living up to these standards or not. In Oct & so far this month, they should have been paying us. In our opinion, the consistency with their service definitely changed in the summer & has never been quite as good again. One of the ongoing issues now with Citysearch & the owner is the fridge handle which cracked causing quite a large part to fall off – a safety issue. We reported it back in July & with busy schedules, we didn’t take time to do follow-up & they didn’t come forward with more info. following an appliance vendor visit here in the summer. In Sept. we brought up the topic again & this time were served with a $600.00 bill that we would be responsible for – wow! We were never told that the warranty had expired on this brand-new fridge & it had expired even before we moved in! Our tenant agreement indicates, “The Tenant shall be responsible for: (e) the cost of any other repairs or replacements to the Premises or the common property of the Premises due to Tenant neglect or willful damage by the Tenant or guests.” (#6 Damage) We are wondering if Citysearch & the owner forgot about the second part of this. They are holding firm to their stance. Our opinion is that we did no damage directly or indirectly to the handle. This happened 2 ½ months into our stay here & seemingly out of nowhere! This is very frustrating & unfair. We would prefer 2.5 stars but gave 3.
