  They are always really nice and make my dog feel comfortable even though she is nervous. They do a really good job cutting hair to what u request. Thank u petco groomers!!

  I have been bringing several of my dogs here for grooming for over three years, and until recently, I’ve consistently had great experiences with both the haircuts and the service. About a month ago, I brought in my Goldendoodle for her appointment. I arrived four minutes late and was immediately scolded, told that I was going to cause the entire day to run behind, and that my dog’s appointment would be pushed back. When I returned a few hours later to pick her up, I was surprised to see additional charges added to my bill: a $20 “upgraded services” fee and a $10 matting fee. I understand and accept the matting charge, as Goldendoodles can sometimes develop mats. However, I questioned the $20 upgraded services fee. According to the description, this upgrade includes enhanced shampoo and conditioning as well as nail filing. When I asked why my dog required these upgraded services, I was spoken to very rudely and told that she “needed it,” and that if I didn’t like the price, they could charge each service separately instead and it would be even more money. When I asked which specific part of the upgrade my dog needed, no one was able to give me a clear answer. After continued questioning simply to understand the reason for the charge, they ultimately removed the $20 fee altogether. After leaving, I attempted to book my next appointment and discovered that I had been banned from scheduling online—apparently as a result of questioning the extra charges. I am trying not to let one bad experience overshadow the many good years I’ve had here, but it’s difficult when additional fees are applied without explanation and concerns are met with rudeness rather than transparency.

  I took my poodle in and told them I wanted the teddy bear cut for him, they said yeah we know. When I came back to get him he was completely shaved to the skin!!!! His beautiful red hair was gone. I know it will grow back but it will take awhile for it to grow. With it still being cold weather he is so cold. I have to purchase clothing for him now to cover up the horrendous haircut. The only thing left fluffy on him was his face! It was horrific!! He was a tiny dog to begin with and now with no hair on him he looked like a rat with no hair!!!! I was so stressed!!!!

  We've been bringing Speedy to this store since he was a puppy. He's now 8 years old. In all that time we only had one bad experience. The people there take great care of him. They know him and he likes them. Can't ask for better than that.
