There are multiple employees however customer service is very poor even when there are a lack of customers. After requesting for assistance for getting crickets I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up and nobody did. This isnt the first time. While waiting for the crickets another family had been waiting to get a bird. If you want better customer service and better care for your pets visit another store cause it ain't here. In short staff are polite but inconsistent and slow, especially when assisting you.

The aisles were cluttered with boxes of inventory (I’m assuming) that needed to be put away. Took a while to find what I needed and got in the checkout line. I was #2 of 3 people in line. The light wasn’t on, but the girl was ringing up people prior to us 3 in line. Then she just walked away from the register without saying a word and walked to the back of the store. Us 3 in line stood there for 5 minutes then guessed she wasn’t coming back. I bought what I needed, but everything is so overpriced that next time I’ll just order from Amazon and wait a day to get it delivered. How Petco stays in business is beyond me.

Apparently the store closes at 530 and they said they wouldn't have time to do it and clean up. Why bother allowing appointments that late if you are not going to do it. Im now scrambling trying to find a groomer for the only available time I had in the next couple weeks. Honestly so disappointed and upset they wanted me to drive 40 mins on my lunch to drop my boy off F
