On training days whenever I'm shopping I've never had any issues with others while going about my day. The items are fairly stocked and the animal are in very good condition. I bought a conure from their store and he is such an amazing boy (Tiki) and he is very healthy and learns daily. Definitely go here if you want a good experience while shopping with your buddy with paws.
- MFmarcia flaniganNov 11, 20251.0We took our dog to be groomed and when I spoke to the reception I said int he future I wanted to pay to take our dog straight through, he is a rescue dog and a big dog. Nova said yes that would be the best. When my husband went to pick him they said I had agreed to pay for an advance subscription of $260 which netted 20% off future grooming fees. I never would have done that because I would not commit to grooming at Petco for a year. When I called they were insistent I had agreed which I had not. My husband returned and they gave him a receipt which said refund for $398.60. We waited a week, no refund. When I called the store they said it takes ten days at least to refund. when I called back to say no refund yet I was told this was a "corporate issue" and call them. I then called corporate and they said it was a store issue. We had to contact our credit card company and go through hoops to get this credit since the receipt included "grooming" and their web site says no credits for grooming. We had the receipt for an additional charge for just the grooming fee. This problem involved several hours, seven phone calls and a lot of conversation suggesting I was at fault. Nova is a great groomer but Petco is poorly run and organized. Our credit card company did issue a refund with no help from Petco.
