  Do not take your animals here, especially exotic animals. They do not have a handle on pricing, they will give you the wrong amount. They don't do payment plans. I had an appointment that cheat lake vet had cancelled on me, they marked my pet as deceased "by mistake". They also gave my pets a vaccine that wasn't FDA approved apparently, didn't tell me, years and years later I call for records and that's when they tell me what I essentially paid for is invalid. PLEASE report them to the veterinary board, they haven't been the same clinic since COVID.

  We brought our rabbit, Hops, in for a wellness check and had a great experience from start to finish. The entire staff from the front desk to the doctors and technicians was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel completely comfortable with Hops’ care. We truly appreciate the level of kindness and expertise they showed.

  We have been to cheat lake many times, They are the only vet I would ever use. I have regularly been there for all my animal's. I've been there for very sad visits and positive ones and no matter what they have always provided the best experience you could desire. Even when losing a pet they show care, Compassion. This vet genuinely cares about the animals they see, Dr Chuck Wolfe also is a great vet who takes a very straight forward no bs approach to your dogs care and thats exactly what you want vs some vets who just care about running up the bill and not caring about outcomes.

  Absolutely 10 outta 10 would recommend! They were so good with my 9yrold husky and 2 yr old pug mix. I love the fact they have 24hr emergency service. Gives me so much peace of mind knowing if I have an emergency they are a phone call and 5 mins away. They made it so easy to get my husky medication that she was already on when we moved here. They Absolutely have earned my business and I won't be going anywhere else for my pets needs. If you need a vet or an emergency vet and you are anywhere near morgantown, these are the Dr's you want to trust with your animals!!

  I took my cat here for an emergency where she stopped eating for two days, and received both an X-ray and extensive bloodwork. I thought the workers were very professional and the offices and building itself were in good condition.. Long story short I was in and out in about an hour and reassured that my cat isn't dying. Here's where the plot twist comes in: However... when I got home the medication I had been given was for a dog named Bella, and not my cat named Rocky. Luckily I looked closely and read the label before I started putting the wrong pills in here food! Donna was very helpful in processing a refund for the medication, but I would hope that next time this happens this company's owner makes a bigger deal about it and refunds that person's $115.50 checkup fee. It's the least you could do! Seemed like a pretty good place to go until this disappointing experience, needless to say I won't be back.
