They gave a convenia injection to stop the coughing, which it did. No where did they mention the side effects of said medicine. It cause Leia to have severe diarrhea for the whole week. I told the techs and the Dr that, and they shrugged it off, saying that that's not a typical side effect. Before I realized it, they gave her another injection of the same med. Now, I'll be cleaning my floors every day for the next week and a half while worrying about her becoming dehydrated. They did, however, send us home with meds for the diarrhea. It has yet to take effect.
