- RMRhebeccka MattisonNov 13, 20252.0I am not going to bash Petco in Plover because they do provide decent grooming services, aside from the snotty attitude from one of the groomers, however I was not whatsoever impressed with the lack of transparency with their prices. Their advertised price was $25.00 and they charged me $61.00 because they considered my dog medium haired. This priced should have been stated upfront and okayed prior to taking him back. We had a scheduled appointment time and they left him, wet, and probably scared, in a kennel for over an hour, while they groomed 3 walk ins. A scheduled appointment should take priority. I know other people like Petco's grooming services, but we won't be back.

Then told that the groomer is out for 6-8 weeks for an emergency. Okay, I totally get that things happened. Why didn’t I get a call? They had 3 numbers on my account 2 of those I have never heard of. The one was mine and at my first appointment they sent me text messages when he was done. So why didn’t they not try all numbers? Also, while I was there they told me the needed a cop of his Rabies certificate? Ah? Why the should have that in his account already? Because he was groomed there previously? And where did they get these two that were not mine? So, fast forward scheduled him over a month out because our schedule. He has a groom appointment today at 2PM and just got a call at 10:20AM that the groomer will not be in and that she will call to reschedule. At this point I am over how unprofessional they are and the lack of communication, or last minute communication. I completely completely understand stuff happens, but not to make any sort of effort since this is now the second time to make it right. So now My dog who has had to get groomed now for a while now expected to wait another month or so? I will not be taking any of my current dogs or feature dogs here
