Came in to purchase some food for my pet and needed to get my script card in order to do so. When I came in, I spoke with a lady in Green scrubs and was met immediately with rudeness. I tried calling to talk to somebody about this, but unfortunately, I was on hold for almost 30 minutes. I originally went up to the desk to get my script card and the girl that helped me Seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. It’s very disappointing to come in worried about not being able to get your cats proper medicated food, but then have to deal with rudeness from someone who is in a customer service oriented role. While on hold for almost 30 minutes, the voice recording playing said that customer service was your priority, but I guess it isn’t really because the person I spoke with didn’t care at all. If you work in a customer service oriented role please consider how you treat people. If I had thought about bringing my pet there to this hospital location, I definitely won’t now because of the poor customer service if you treat people this way, how do you treat animals? There may be more other important things going on in your day than someone complaining about rude customer service but at the end of the day, customer service should be important. As someone who has worked in vet clinics before it’s disheartening to see people act this way when the general public relies on your help

Vet was amazing with my kitten. He was so gentle and kind. The only thing I would say is a tech came in first and wasted 45 mins of our time on trying to sell me a monthly plan. It felt very pushy and not something I’m wanting to get at this time.

I used to have great experiences at this Hospital. They were extremely helpful when I got a cat who was sick from a different pet store. So I recommended them to my Fiancee when he took in a stray kitten named Swamp Thing. That situation did not go well. They kept the kitten in her kennel for 6+ hours, were so busy they forgot she was even there and past her appointment time, prescribed a medication that gave the kitten FIP, and the kitten had to be put down, because we cannot afford 7k+ for the treatment of FIP. Then Banfield refused to take accountability for the situation, continued to charge my Fiancee for a year for the wellness plan for this kitten, even though it had died. Refused to allow him to transfer the plan to a cat that was alive. Deleted the Kittens profile off of their app so there was no record of their wrongdoing, And was unsympathetic regarding the entire situation. I will never utilize this hospital again. All they care about is money. The day they gave the kitten a full 1ml syringe meloxicam(which a simple google search says should be administered with extreme caution even in the healthiest of cats at an extremely low dose), they lost my faith that they are knowledgeable and not just out for money. The emergency vet we had to take the kitten to even stated this above information, and Banfield STILL did not take accountability and continued to charge my grieving Fiance almost 80 dollars a month for a YEAR. After we had just spent 700 at the emergency vet to put her down, AND 600+ to have her cremated. DO NOT GO TO BANFIELD AND USE THEIR WELLNESS PROGRAM. All Banfield cares about is money. Not the sick pet you are desperately trying to help. They have no problem keeping them in their carrier and affecting your life. They intentionally overbook themselves to get the most profit, and do not care about whose life is at risk when they do this. I hope to save anyone else the heartache that my Fiancee experienced. If you love your pet, you will find a local vet who will work with you, not take them to this corporation who are only for profit.
