- AWAlli WalkerJan 15, 20262.0The staff members were friendly, and the pricing was fair. However, I do not appreciate the way they handled my dog. In the past, when I had taken my dog to the vet, they would ask me to pick him up, set him on the table, and keep him calm. This works perfectly fine, and he has never had any issues. When I brought my dog to the Vetco staff, the vet walked up to him and picked him up immediately. This caused my dog to freak out and attempt to bite. He has never been violent whatsoever, so I was shocked to see the behavior. I apologized repeatedly, and the vet informed me that it was the third time it had happened that day, and that my dog's breed does not like to be restrained. This made me realize that no one has ever just walked up to my dog and grabbed him that way, so it is no surprise that he was scared (I do not think any dog would be okay with that). If they had allowed me to pick up my dog, there would have been no issues. My dog now has a muzzle warning on his record because of this, even though it could have been very easily avoided.
