  Today my husband and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved Cooper down. He was almost 13 and had joint problems which within the last week were getting worse. We switched to Packerland vet a couple years ago and they have always treated us with respect and my dog with compassion. After he could barely get out to go to the bathroom last night we decided it was time to let him go. We did not want to wait until he went down paralyzed and scared and in pain and have to rush him to the emergency vet in Appleton and turn his last moments into a nightmare. We called at 8 o'clock this morning and they could not have been more compassionate or accommodating for us. We took Cooper in and they put his IV in and brought him into a room by us where we had as much time as we needed to hug him and tell him how much we loved him. They did not rush us we let them know when we were ready. And as my husband put his arms around him And he was eating a treat out of my hand so she could put the sedative in his IV port his whole body just went limp. And then they gave him the last shot to stop his heart and gave us time to hold him and pet him and say one last goodbye. We left A part of our hearts behind with him But we also knew we gave him the best life we could have and they gave him the most compassionate fast painless humane death he could've had And that gave us some comfort. I want to thank The receptionist, The vet tech, The veterinarian And everyone who made an utterly crushing experience less painful For Cooper and also for us.

  After months of unsuccessful treatment for a corneal ulcer at 2 different vets in Appleton I found Dr. Geaudry at Packerland. She immediately knew what to do and within a month my dog’s eye was healed. The staff at this clinic is wonderful and I feel that the love and care of animals is everyone’s top priority. I get the impression that most of the staff members are long term and enjoy working there. I can’t say enough about how happy I am to have Packerland Veterinary Clinic as my dog’s vet.

  Everything about this clinic is wonderful, especially the staff. I started coming here when my first dog tore her CCL. They performed TPLO surgery for her and continued to provide support as she aged, as she developed significant arthritis. While at an appointment for her, we met the sweetest adoptable cat in their lobby and were lucky enough to make her part of our family. Her name is Agatha now and we still bring her here for all her appointments. Yhe staff continues to be amazing for everything she needs, including a couple dental procedures.

  The best groomer I have had. She was so patient and did a wonderful job with my pup. He is an Aussie Doodle and it was only his 2nd time. Thanks again Hannah.
