This trip I added a bath which included blow dry, gland expression, ear cleaning & nail trimming. She never got the blow dry and that day temps were in the teens so she was wet when we left and for a couple hours after we got home. She never got the gland expression, not sure about the ear cleaning, probably not. Cost an extra $10 for conditioner … my whole bottle doesn’t even cost $10! Seriously I won’t ever bring her here for that service again! I paid full price and only got half the services in the package plus the $10 conditioner!

This is the second time I have taken my pets to petco and while they do return to me smelling clean; it seems there is little care for the pets. Allegedly one of my dogs was pawing and crying in her kennel and cut her paw from pawing on the kennel. My girl dog is kennel trained and has never whined, cried, or pawed at the door. While I was called about the incident, there was no further discussion about this upon me picking my dogs up. Both of my dogs were retuned to me with hang nails and poorly trimmed nails. When I arrived to pick them up, it was very rushed and perceived that they wanted me (and my dogs) out the door fast as possible. Honestly super unimpressed with both times I have left my dogs in the care of Petco Grooming, and likely won't be returning. Updating on 27OCT: I got a response on my review from the store... followed up with a call like they asked. The manager I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about in regards to the situation described in my review. Additionally, I was told that I would receive a call back from the store owner or store manager to which I never received. I was told he was out due to a surgery and would be back during the weekend; I never received a call back. I am further disappointed in this establishment and will not be returning or recommending this business for anything.
- LFL FAug 22, 20251.0Stylists didn't understand a doodle coat or the brush used to control her tight curls - the curls were not matted - they were tight curls - they didn't have time to brush her out so they shaved the entire dog, from tip of tail to tip of nose.
