  I am a frequent shopper at the Delafield Petco. I definitely prefer it over the Waukesha location where the employees there always make me feel like I'm bothering them. The employees at the Delafield location are always friendly and happy to help. Beverly always strikes up a conversation which is a nice change from most big box stores these days. Great customer service. Yesterday I stopped to pick up a few things and had questions about a fish tank I had purchased. Beverly called Alex over to answer my questions. Alex went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and had all the information I needed. She really takes pride in her job. I hope PETCO corporate takes care of its good employees because they sure are hard to find these days. A good shopping experience keeps customers coming back. Keep up the great works ladies. You are appreciated!!

  No for the groomers. Used them the last couple years with no issue. Yet the last few times has been bad. Whoever is running this show as of April 2026 is not doing good I would advise staying away. I will be canceling my two Petco memberships as well.

  There’s some serious animal abuse going on in the store. The female Mouse cage was absolutely disgusting. Just poop everywhere. The guinea pig cages were absolutely disgusting. They were laying in their own filth. Poop in their food. When I went up to an employee and asked who cleans the cages, she just left and said we’ll take care of it. She said that there is no poop in the food, but I said I can take you up and show you. I said that’s animal abuse. The fact that I employee would chuckle about an animal living in their own shit is crazy to me. It looks like these cages haven’t been cleaned in weeks. I was about to save one and take one home, but then I realize I’m just supporting this problem over again and again

  Ellie the bully was AWESOME!! My african dwarf is doing well, his buddy did not make it but I know these frogs can be a bit harder to keep.
