We took our kitty to get a vaccine and we waited 1+ hour to get in. We had booked an appointment and got there 15 minutes early as instructed. The whole process was so chaotic. Dogs barking everywhere, no distinguishment between walk-ins and appointments. Felt we were pushed to reschedule to "not have to come back again" Note that we talked to our primary vet who told us that the vaccine needed to be done on the scheduled due date. Had we not consulted with our vet ahead of time we would have followed incorrect medical advice. Most of the staff were nice however very disappointed with our experience and we are definitely not coming back. Be preaching to wait in like at least 30-40 minutes even with an appointment

they need to have better signage at the entrance to the Vetco Clinic, sat in the waiting area for about 10 minutes to have a very rude punk tell me that the clinic that does shots is located in the back of the store, would've been nice to have some sort of signage. Get ready for the upsale like a used car lot for the vaccines.

We usually love Vetco but our last trip (7/20/25) to the clinic for our dog's vaccine was chaos. The vet tech who checked us in kept saying how much she did not like the doctor she was working with that day and was also mouthing expletives when walking away from said vet/doctor. The vet then asked us for "county records" instead of previous medical records which confused the entirety of the folks waiting. We had an appointment at 11:30 am and were called in a first come first serve manner, and ended finally having our dog seen at vaxxed at 12:00 pm. While we understand the need for paperwork, the lack of professionalism from the lead vet and the check in counter was egregious. I pointed out our dog's rabies tag and the vet gave a snippy response "Well, that doesn't help us." We have our vet records ready for you if you need them, but those are different from county rabies records. Get your facts straight and attitudes better. We may start going to VCA after our pet's boosters are completed. Life is tense enough, and I don't need my dog stressed from your crummy attitudes.
