- DDDOct 11, 20255.0I have to give this store some kudos. Inventory on the food my cats eat is almost always stocked which I cannot say for other Petco’s in the area. When I order online, I don’t have to worry about items missing which is an issue with other Petco’s. The staff is always friendly and the store is clean and orderly. I had an issue with online ordering today, placed an order, card was charged, rewards were taken but the order itself did not make it through the system. Naturally I was told I can wait for it to fall off my pending charges once the order is canceled in a couple days although my rewards would not be returned; which was $30 in rewards. I happen to be one of those federal employees affected by the shutdown and this completely defeated me. I needed my order and losing my points and spending money on top of my pending charge was not what I was hoping for. I didn’t mean to show frustration because it was not the employees fault but Chris noticed it and helped me out. My cats mean the world to me and in this situation, I would put them before myself but this time I didn’t have to. I haven’t seen this type of customer service in a long time. Where an employee says “I can help.” And it was such a relief to have that care come from a company that didn’t have to care at all. They can’t control technology but for him to say, “let’s get this fixed” really softened the load on a tough time. Thanks Chris!
