  My 8.5 year old Frenchie was not breathing well and physically in quite a bit of pain. The vet and staff were very patient and kind. Is it expensive? Yes, it’s a hospital and an ER but I understand the sticker shock. I was impressed with all of the doctors and staff. Everyone was respectful, honest, and caring. My Frenchie is on the mend thanks to them!

  My dog is just like one of my kids she was having some problems from something she ate i have to watch her like a hawk when were out walking i took her in they took care of her giving her a little anxiety med which calmed her down she got some sleep and woke up hungry and wanting to play ball thanks to them !

  My yorkie was attacked by another dog in my neighborhood. Since CRVS was close to me I quickly took him there. I can’t say enough about the wonderful treatment I received from the Front Desk, vetinary associates and last but by no means least Dr Wallace. The whole team worked together to take the BEST of care of my dog, got him into surgery and I was able to take him home that night to recover at home. At all times I was kept informed of how he was doing and what treatment was needed. I would highly recommend CRVS to anyone who has the unfortunate need of emergency care for their pet. They’re are so professional, kind and caring to both pet and pet parent.

  Great staff, quick in and out. Ended up being half of what they quoted me as they took my lil guy back right away. Super happy all around, when you are in a panic and need help. They are truly there to help. Won’t hesitate at all to take my dogs back anytime there is an emergency. Thank you again. P.s - Dobby didn’t eat the Beats aipods, he lead me to where he hid them this morning haha! Always better to get them checked just in case!

  I don’t even know where to start. I drove down from Longview, Washington completely lost and terrified for my cat Jinx, and the team at Columbia River Veterinary Specialists treated him like he was their own. From the moment I walked in, Sarah at the front desk took the time to really listen; she asked the right questions, relayed everything to the team in the back, and even though they were at full capacity, she didn’t just send me away. She brought technicians out who took a look at Jinx, and it was Dr. Alexander who identified the bladder obstruction. He then sat me down and gave me the full picture; the severity, the timeline, and exactly what needed to happen next. He was direct and honest, and that clarity is what got us moving in the right direction fast. What the team did next is what really got me. They didn’t just point me somewhere else; they got on the phone, called the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin, relayed Jinx’s situation, confirmed availability, and helped me get everything organized to get him there in time. And not to forget Jennifer went above and beyond walking me through diet, food brands, stress mitigation, and what ongoing care should look like going forward. Paige was right there alongside her; coming out to offer reassurance, making sure I felt okay, wishing me safe travels, and making sure Jinx was taken care of every step of the way. Jinx had his catheterization that night. He’s home, eating, using the litter box, and doing great; and that outcome starts with this team. I’ve had animals my whole life and never experienced a staff that cared this deeply, especially under the circumstances. I’ll be back, and once I get through school I plan on giving back to clinics like this one. You have no idea the impact you made. Thank you. — Antonio Huffman.
