We have a Rottweiler German Shepard mix puppy that was almost impossible to control on a leash but with Jessica’s training our puppy is easily walking to heel on a leash, sits on command, and will do her 30 minute downs. I would highly recommend Scatter Creek Kennels and Training.

Post updated in response to business owners reply: I would love to hear about when the change in management took place and who the new management is? Your website and recent reviews indicate Jim is still the trainer and owner. Original post: This spring I took my own dog (lab/pit mix) and a dog (younger lab) i had just adopted out of Texas to scatter creek because after only about 5 days, the new dog kept attacking my dog. Jim was very presumptive about the situation referring to my dog as the aggressor, he mocked working with people who have “rescue” dogs but assured me he works with a lot of rescues, referred to only his newest dog at the time as a pet (I assumed someone who cares for other people’s dogs would treat all dogs as pets. Red flag.), he suggested i hit my dogs, and when i was uncomfortable with the way he treated my dog he tried to distract me by showing me videos of other dogs he had apparently worked with. I was entirely uncomfortable with our session and would never go back or recommend scatter creek.

Jim, the owner/trainer, is very good at what he does. My first session lasted an hour and my dobermann and I have already learned a lot and she is a lot calmer already. I'm very encouraged by Jim's instruction style and I have a feeling that in just a couple sessions I'll have all the tools I need to create a better life for my dobie, me and everyone around us. Thanks, Jim!

We love them. Our dog has extreme anxiety and aggressive towards other dogs. We tried 2 different trainers and spent a ton of money with no results. We heard about Jim & his experience and ability to work with difficult dogs. We can now comfortably walk our dog at the park which is nothing short of a miracle. He is no nonsense which is what we needed. The prices are very reasonable and we know our dog is safe when we board her. Darcy and Jim are great. We will continue to go to them as our exclusive trainer and boarder

Rudest person you'll ever talk too!!! He was very sarcastic and cocky on the phone and had a very bad attitude both times I called (weeks apart) so no real excuse of just happened to be having a bad day! I asked if I could come see the place and maybe take a tour before just dropping off my dog for a month and his response was " my time is to valuable to waste by giving away free tours" so your only options are pay $50 for one session and see the place then or sign a contract to board your dog without knowing how bad the conditions are! He also uses harmful methods of "training" (chockers, shockers, collars that stab, ect...) this is not training!!! This is animal abuse and bad business! Please if you truly care about your pet do not take it to this man!!! Ps: check Facebook page photos and you'll see all the bad collars he uses on the dogs!
