  I am not one to Normally write reviews! I get busy in life and normally forget or don’t make the time to write one out. My puppy, Theodore was hit very hard by a truck on Monday night. He’s thank God alive. And healing very quickly during my time of need Danielle and Ray helped me tremendously with some information I needed At the time I called and I was running out of hope until they gave me my answer. You guys are amazing thank you so much. Theodore was able to get his medicine that evening within a half an hour after I got off the phone. And doing great! I had a prescription from a veterinarian to get Some anti-inflammatory painkiller, Because his left lung is so severely bruised, and a lot of B – line fractures, 2 veterinarians that saw him are very concerned on his breathing I asked Danielle, when she answered my phone call, Do they by any chance fill prescriptions there??? They informed me Petco does not and has some over-the-counter things but not what Theodore needed. Danielle and Ray, God bless them, Sat on the phone with me and helped brainstorm where I could take his prescription, they directed me exactly where I needed to go. Thanks A million you guys! You guys deserve the best! Most pharmacies do not carry pet medicine, No veterinary clinic or hospital will fill another Veterinarians prescription And no regular pharmacy that I called, And I called many, Did not carry pet medicine on hand and could order it, but it would be some days before I could get it filled, and he was gonna be out of his medicine the next day, on top of that, it was about five 6 o’clock at night and I was running out of time and options. Danielle and Ray You guys are angels thank you so much! Much love🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

  This review is regarding the pet grooming salon. I have been going to the groomers at Petco 6th Ave for over three years. Taryn does a fabulous job grooming my skittsh shihtzu. Thank you to all dog groomers for doing this very taxing job and helping to keep our pets healthy!!

  I recently visited the Tacoma Petco location in search of prescription cat food, which I have an active prescription for through Petco. Upon entering, there was no cashier at the front desk, so I had to walk through the store to find an associate. When I finally approached one, she was speaking with someone stocking shelves. Unsure if she worked there, I politely asked, “Hello, do you work here?” She turned to me with an unpleasant expression and a dismissive tone, immediately giving the impression that my presence was unwelcome. I asked about prescription cat food, and she curtly replied that the location does not carry it. I then asked if she could check which nearby store might have it in stock, and she responded, “I don’t know,” offering no further assistance. Her lack of professionalism and unwillingness to help was disappointing and not at all what I expect from a Petco associate. This interaction alone has led me to decide I will not return to this location. Petco should ensure that associates are trained to treat customers with respect and provide at least basic guidance. The associate appeared to be approximately 5’8” to 5’9” in height, with medium-length reddish-brown hair, and seemed to be in her late twenties to mid-thirties. Her demeanor during the interaction was notably discourteous and unprofessional.
