  Absolutely horrible service now! Their support staff is going to end up killing a patient with the amount of mistakes made, if they haven't already. We've been clients since 2005. Almost all the staff is new just in the last few months. They have no idea what they are doing. They made mistake, they after mistake. Forgetting to ask the vet for a med refill for the entire day. Had called it in at 8am, messaged at 3pm to see if ready. No response. I called at 5:40pm to check. The receptionist rudely said "there's no way we can fill meds in the 20 minutes before closing. They had since 8 am! Booked us with wrong veterinarian. Put in the wrong info as why we needed to have our dog seen. Vet tech/assistant gave the vet the wrong notes about the injuries so we had to reexplain. Vet tech needed to take him in the back, which he doesn't like so they always need to pick him up. He weighs only 25lbs so should be easy. She picked him up from under his front legs letting his backend not be supported, making his back severely sag. After every mistake she made she kept saying "I've only been doing this for 2 weeks". Has she never picked up a dog before? Many, many other mistakes by all the staff. Worst was witnessing a dog parent be given a prescription for a different patient! Luckily the owner caught the mistake that could have killed her dog! We ended up going to a new clinic in Edmonds and had a wonderful experience! Two former employees from here are now working there and agreed how terrible the service is now, and that the corporate, private equity company owners are awful, just want profits, and they couldn't take it anymore either. I feel very bad for Dr Thomas, a new hire here, but has 20 years of experience, and went to the top vet school in the country. She's too good to have to deal with the incompetent staff here and I hope she can find another clinic to move to after her contact is up.

  I was very impressed with Northgate Veterinary. It was clean and organized and the people who work there were very nice. The interior looks like it was recently remodeled. My dog hasn't seen the vet yet, but I plan to bring her in for her next exam. I brought my dog in for a nail trim but I plan to make this the vet for our family animals, and have recommended Northgate to a family member for their cat.

  Wow, this is hands down the worst vet clinic I've ever encountered. The chaos was evident from the start, the front desk was a total mess, forcing me to confirm my appointment three times. The veterinarian, Jenny Lee, barely performed a proper exam and handled my cat like she was something gross. She very obviously did not want to touch her. She repeatedly got my cat's gender wrong, revealing a shocking lack of care and empathy for my pet. Worse still, after the vaccines, my cat returned with a large, unexplained smear across her face, was it saliva, a treat, or something else? It was impossible to miss, yet it wasn't wiped off or mentioned, which only heightened my anxiety given Jenny's careless approach. I immediately booked another appointment at Shoreline Veterinary Hospital, and the difference was night and day: professional, thorough, and compassionate. Save your money and skip this place entirely, especially if you have a cat and end up with Jenny Lee. It's not worth the risk to your pet's well-being.
