They took care of my cat at a very fast rate and I'm so thankful to cal and the staff here. Would definitely recommend this place and staff to anyone.

I have been to a few other locations and did not have the same experience, but the team in Ballard is truly phenomenal. Every vet tech I have worked with has been so kind and accommodating. Dr. Robinson has been extremely thorough in her care of one of my aging cats. I have felt listened to and recommendations never feel pushed or ludicrous. They are transparent in their pricing, have nearly always been able to fit me in or move my appointment. I am extremely grateful to the whole team there.

Ballard is one of the best locations. The folks are genuinely kind, they care about the pets, they are patient, and personable. We appreciate how they can fit in pets when it’s an emergency. We don’t have children and our pets are our everything. We are so grateful we can trust the team at Banfield Ballard to take the best care of them!

I have had a number of pets and seen a number of bets over my life, and overall this is the least trust inspiring and caring vet clinic I have seen. No one ever has the information straight, everything changes depending on who you talk to, and the overall feeling is they are there to make money and not care for your animal. After getting vaccines in our puppy, he developed a large lump on the side. We asked them what that was and they said “ya it happens, its cosmetic and you shouldn't worry” in a very dismissive and aggressive manner. We are now in a new area and going to a new vet, and when we asked for the records to be transferred in banfields notes it says “we recommend additional examination to determine cause of the mass”. Absolutely ridiculous . Either the front desk has no idea how to read notes and there is a lack of communication or they deliberately downplayed our dogs needs to lessen work or get off the hook or something. This location was walkable to our place but we chose to drive to another clinic and you should too.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
