Great location. Have taken most of the pets I've had over the years to this pet hospital

My indoor cat almost died of a fungal infection a week after dental extractions at this clinic — $10k at the ER and 5 days in critical care later. At the time I thought, “stuff happens,” but over the last 3 years this place has gotten noticeably worse: understaffed, forgetful, and careless. Do not book drop-off appointments. When you drop off in the morning, your pet becomes the lowest priority. Mine was kept for nearly 10 hours without food and I was finally allowed to pick up 10 minutes before closing. (8:30am to 5:50pm - no lunch break…) When I arrived, the outside of the carrier was soaked in urine. Staff admitted they had shoved him inside “mid-pee” with pee pads. Now I have a traumatized cat and cat urine in my car seats. When I asked why this took so long, the front desk gave me the exact same canned response as last time. Midway through, the newer staff member’s voice suddenly escalated to a level that was jarringly loud — not in a normal conversational way, but in direct response to me showing disappointment. At that point, I just had to leave as quickly as possible. This is no longer a clinic I can trust. I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly advise others to look elsewhere. The actual Vets/techs have always been great to work with, and I don’t think it’s their fault.

Not happy with the experience I have had at this clinic. We booked a dental cleaning at Banfield Aurora but they called and said there was no vet available that day so they told us to go to another clinic (Banfield Carkeek). We booked a dental cleaning but when I took my dog to the clinic they said they couldn't clean my dogs teeth or do anything else because they hadn't been there before so we had to make another appointment! I even took a day off work to take my dog to get their teeth cleaned and nothing was done and I wasted a day off work. I was a bit upset at the time because the clinic didn’t communicate clearly that I couldn’t have my dogs teeth cleaned before the appointment, and their staff told me that I had a bad attitude!
