I just had a terrible drop off appointment. I dropped my dog off at nine he needed a quick examine and vaccines updates. I asked how long I should expect I was told an 1.5 hours. I didn’t receive any communication from there on out. I had to reach out multiple times to get updates on my pet. After 2.5 hours I called and expected they should be wrapping up. They explained to me they hadn’t planned on starting with him until after 12 even though drop off was at 9. I was why they would have me drop him off so early if they knew this. They gave no reason. At 2:30 I called again to get a follow up and they informed me he was already done. They didn’t bother to call me even though in the previous conversation I explained that he has anxiety and I would like to pick him up as soon as possible. When I arrived to pick him up, I never spoke with the vet, a tech simply came out to sell me some medication they left without giving any details about how the appointment went. I went to check out having no idea what I was about to pay for or what actually occurred during the appointment. It was unclear whether they even gave him his vaccines. This is a extremely disappointing experience. Pet owners view our pets as our children and I could never imagine dropping your child off at a doctors office and nobody bothering to tell you what is happening to them while they are there or even ask for consent before preforming procedures or administering medication. I get better communication and service when I order a pizza. This is beyond disappointing for such a large company to have such low standards for patient care. I hope you take this feedback in and correct your policies and procedures.

Immediately pressured to sign up for recurring payment form of service/ care for my dog. Did so for one year. Banfield automatically renewed my subscription, without my knowledge and getting it cancelled was a headache.

While the staff are nice and friendly, a recent health situation with our pet left us lacking in action and detailed information to make better decisions. The information they provide on test results, medication/dosages, and proposed plans was very vague at best. I would not go back to them.

These people actually tried to upsell me tests and diagnostics on the day of my pet’s euthanasia. Started my appt with a full inquisition which should have happened over the phone. I had this appt scheduled for nearly a week, their sales pitch could have been a call but they decided to try it at with the most insensitive and cruel timing. So horribly inappropriate They’re sales people more than vets, don’t go here. And certainly opt for Lap of Love or anyone else for euthanasia. Cap Hill Banfield is well worth the drive over this one.

Very nice but incompetent when comes to prescriptions. I have been waiting 5 days to get a refill prescription for my elderly cat whose life depends upon this medicine. They keep coming up with excuses but basically the doctors are not paying attention. I have used them for a couple of years but no longer after this. If you have a pet whose life depends upon prescribed medications I'd go elsewhere.
