Unfortunately I have to give this business a poor review in retrospect. I have a senior cat (20 this year), and up until about a year and a half ago this was our neighborhood vet for several years. In summary their customer support is lacking and their services are really expensive. What I didn't really appreciate was lack of facetime with the vets, at the time they had a drop off system where you could drop off your pet, get a phone call report later and pick up later in the day. I can count on one hand the times I actually saw a vet 1:1. The "junior" vets were not consistent, it was a revolving door it seemed. When my cat saw the lead/"senior" vet, he was often quite rude. The one interaction that made me decide to find another place to take my cat was when he told me my cat's teeth were "terrible" and tried to push a dental on me, which in turn made me feel terrible. Even though I did pay for the preventative care plan that included a dental, it does not mean I should leverage that benefit. My cat does have dental issues, but she is also ancient and has a heart murmur which can make anesthesia risky. At my next vet clinic, I received 1:1 time with each (super friendly and caring) vet each appointment, and each vet has agreed with me that a dental for my cat at her age and health condition is too risky. I have been told consistently that I take amazing care of my baby which makes me a way happier and confident cat mom, such a change from the cringe feeling I had interacting with the vets at Banfield. Up until the point where I purchased the preventative health plan it was pushed hard on me, and even then it didn't cover all of what my cat needed on a regular basis (2x a year). Certain labs weren't included. The EKG which diagnosed her heart murmur certainly wasn't. Medications were expensive, the list goes on. I also have to question the ethics of putting vets in the position of being pushy salespeople... Sure Banfield may be convenient but their pricing is high and you may not get the support your pet (and you as their parent) deserve.

From the very first phone call to the in-person visit, the care I received was incredible. A nurse who helped me (she has a scorpion tattoo) was so kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate. I explained that I was going through a lot and didn’t have enough this morning to cover the full treatment, even though the prices were very reasonable. Instead of making me feel uncomfortable or pushing financing options, she took the time to find real, practical alternatives that still ensured my dog got the care she needed while bringing the cost down. That meant more to me than she probably knows. Her love for animals truly shows, and it made a stressful situation feel manageable and supported. I’m so grateful for her kindness and will absolutely be a returning customer. Highly recommend this clinic if you want a team that actually cares — about both pets and people.
