I’ve been going here for years for my cat Chloe and this is the only location I really trust. She recently was diagnosed with kidney failure and they (specifically my doctor John Haines) has been amazing with teaching me how to give the IV, giving me solutions like the senior plan to help me save money and only recommending certain tests to be done for her that are necessary so we can spread out all the things the plan covers. My doctor Dr Haines is so great- he’s been transparent from the beginning, makes me hopeful and generally cares about the pets he sees- and you can tell! I would recommend him to anyone who wants someone they can trust and ask 1000 questions to and he will be able to give you information without explaining it in a way that you can’t understand.10/10! I also came in today to get some supplies for Chloe as she was out of IV fluid and some other things and the new manager here is amazing! I didn’t get her name- but she was able to get my meds approved for my cat way earlier than planned- originally 2 hours from time I called (I needed them sooner or I’d be not able to come in till a different day) and she called me back and let me know she found a doctor and got them approved! Most employees won’t bother to go the extra mile, and she did and I bet she’s like that in so many other ways as a manager. She even sent me home with an ice pack to keep my sedating medicine cold as I wouldn’t be able to get home right away and it requires refrigeration. She was super kind and friendly and if I wasnt already a customer- she’d be the reason I would come back to this location! Please keep her :-)

My pet, is always anxious and nervous at the vet, but Dr. Haines at Banfield Pet Hospital was very kind and reassuring to me throughout the visit. My dog recently had his teeth cleaned and went under anesthesia, and I was worried, but Dr. Haines explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and helped me feel at ease. My dog did so well and had no side effects after the procedure, which was such a relief. The staff were also wonderful — they checked in with me before and after the procedure, kept me informed, and made sure my pup was doing okay. I’m so grateful for the care and support they gave both of us. Highly recommend Dr. Haines and the entire Banfield team for their compassion and follow-through. 🐾❤️

I called in the morning with a concern about my cat. I was told I’d receive a call from a vet today. It’s 6:30 pm and no one has called.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Banfield for over 15 years, but I am extremely disappointed with the way my recent experience has been handled. My scheduled appointment was canceled by your office due to double-booking, not by me. As someone who works every single day without days off, has to drive far for work, and manages dropping my kids off at school, rescheduling is not simple. Canceling my appointment day-of was very disruptive and unfair. What makes this even more frustrating is that the canceled visit was supposed to cover my dog’s annual exam and vaccines under her current plan. Now I’m being told that I need to pay for a whole new plan in order for her to receive care. That is unreasonable, especially since the missed visit was canceled on your end—not mine. Today is the last day of coverage, and I’ve been told there are no appointments available. After 15 years of loyalty, it feels like that history means absolutely nothing. I ask that Banfield honor what should have been included during my dog’s last canceled visit and provide coverage for her annual exam and vaccines without requiring me to purchase an entirely new plan. I hope this can be resolved fairly.

TL;DR: good people, bad business. The staff is great, and the doctors qualified, but their "wellness plan" is a con. It's really just prepaid services. What they also dont tell you is it auto renews and the only way to turn it off is to talk to their "cancelation department" which I'm convinced doesn't really exist. They never call back when you use the callback feature, and estimate wait time is always in the hours. But sales and billing you'll get through no problem. And if you cancel your card since they won't cancel the 0lan, expect to get spammed multiple times a day. Banfield 100% lost my business because of this hustle they call a service. Turns out they already have a class action suit because of this.
