  First time visit. Walking into the store was a pleasure! I was kindly greeted and the scent in the store was very refreshing, clean, unlike many other pet stores. Catherine checked me out and offered assistance to my car, and Ava said she was on her way out and she brought my purchase to my car. Both such kind people and it is evident they enjoy their roles at Petco! Way to go, Petco Redmond!

  I am extremely disappointed with the Redmond location. The first time I booked an appointment for 11:00 a.m., I was called and told that unless I came in at 7:30 a.m., they couldn’t see my dog due to a scheduling conflict. I canceled. The second time, I booked an appointment for 2:45 p.m. and received a call saying that unless I arrived before 11:30 a.m., they could not guarantee they would take my golden doodle. I rushed over to accommodate their last-minute request. When I arrived, the staff was unfriendly. They initially refused my dog’s vaccination records because they were handwritten, even though he has been groomed at the Renton location before and was already in their system. It was pouring rain, so my dog was wet. I was questioned about brushing and grooming, then a comb (not a brush) was run through his wet coat and I was told he was “matted” and would need to be shaved. My dog has never been matted. At that point, I left. The entire experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and unfair. I will not be returning.

  I scheduled a vet appointment for 12:25 pm and was told that they were 4 minutes from closing? They mentioned through text to check in 5-10 minutes early and said that that is mentioned in the confirmation email, it is not. They mentioned checking in 5-10 minutes early at the very bottom of a 3 paragraph text… I showed up right on time. I was told they wouldn’t be able to do the vaccines and wellness check. I asked if they can just do the vaccines then. They told me to go to Bothell…. I’ve never had this problem at any other clinics…. I asked why they have appointments at that time if they cannot service people and they told me that’s how their system is. I asked why they don’t update their system and was told that’s they tried but can’t.

  All store staff were very friendly and cheerful, which is amazing considering my latest visit was during the peak Christmas shopping period. I don't know how they do it. They are also very passionate about animals and taking good care of them. The staff dedicated to the fish department always know their stuff and make great recommendations. The tanks were nice and clean. They made an effort not to let me buy some fish that wouldn't work in my tank, which I appreciated very much.

  Terrible service! My dog ​​had an appointment for a bath and haircut at 7:00 AM. It was a rainy day, and we arrived on time. The day before, they called to confirm some details, but at no point did they mention that we needed to bring the vaccination certificate on the day of the appointment. The receptionist showed complete indifference to the situation and completely denied their mistake of not mentioning the vaccination certificate during the call. They simply refused to provide the service and, with a mocking smile, dismissed us. I would never go back, even if they offered the service for free. Don't go there, I don't recommend it!
