Veterinarian availability varies—book an appointment to ensure one is onsite. Clinics provide only routine vaccines and preventive tests. For emergencies, visit the nearest emergency vet hospital.
I had an 11:15 appointment on 1/10/25. I arrived on time with my puppy. There was a woman already being helped so I stood behind her about 4 feet and chatted with her young daughter who was very talkative and friendly. I was directly in front of the Vetco employee and in her line of sight, without question.
I waited 20 minutes in that same spot. When that woman was done, I stepped toward the podium and was told they had to go in order of appointment. Ok, I stepped back. The Vetco employee started talking to someone who had an appointment at 11:20, after mine. I asked her, if they have to go in order, why wasn’t I next? My appointment was at 11:15. She said I was outside of my 10 minute window (if this is true, the 11:20 appointment was also outside of her 10 minute window and had literally JUST walked up). I told her I had been there since 11:15, I was on time. She then had to go discuss with the other people in the back.
She came out and told me that nobody saw me standing there waiting (at the front of the line for 20 minutes in direct line of sight of the employee) so they cannot see me today. So basically the Vetco team was accusing me of lying about standing in line all that time...even though everyone who was there waiting was behind me! I was shocked, and reiterated that I was on time, and I’ve been waiting since 11:15. She said they were already behind, and couldn’t help me. I was refused service, even though I was ON TIME FOR MY APPOINTMENT AND WAITED IN LINE FOR 20 MINUTES.
I am beyond frustrated with this!! I have never received worse service in my entire life. I have a local dog business with hundreds of clients. I have referred COUNTLESS clients to Vetco and have even shuttled dogs to Vetco to get vaccinated. I have 4 dogs and all of them have gone to Vetco. I buy my dog food and treats through Petco. All of that stops today. Not only will I not refer anyone to Vetco, I will tell them never to go. Not one more dollar of mine will go to this business.

Booking online was great and easy! But didn’t like the fact that you book a specific time slot, just to get a notification to arrive 10 mins early before appt time. Also staff didn’t feel too friendly compared to other we’ve been too :( appointment felt pretty rushed and staff kept questioning why our dog isn’t neutered and if we’ve planned on getting him fixed. Love the easiness of booking with vetco but possibly will be going to a different location.

I came in for a stool test. Made an appointment. Upon check in Libby turned me away. Told me they don't do that here. Repeatedly telling me that until I asked her to look at the price sheet right in front of her where stool samples are listed.
Shame. These people do not genuinely care about animals and its abundantly clear.
