If I could id give zero stars. When I started going here 7 years ago it was a good place. They have seen my girl for 7 years. This last visits with them though blew my mind of how awful an office can be to their pets and family. My pup was urinating blood and multiple times when urinating she would cry. I brought her to banfield. They charged for and office visit and a urinalysis completely understandable. Urinalysis came back no issues no crystals no bacteria. I asked what the next step was the girl on the phone said we can put her on a food diet see if that works or we can do xrays for 300 or we can do ultra sound for $6,800.00 I was blown away I had to repeat it I said 6800 or 6-8 hundred she repeated 6 thousand 8 hundred I was like wow! Thats crazy. So we tried the diet and a follow up appointment when we brought her into the follow up appointment her appetite had declined so we asked for an xray they then quoted my husband 600 for a normal xray and 800 for and advanced xray. We said thats not what was quoted over the phone. So instead we had her see the Dr for just a normal follow up. The doctor said he did an over the belly ultrasound and he sees sediment and just keep her on the diet when the office staff called me to talk yo me about it they were very rude i had to ask to speak to the doctor because of how they accused me of not giving my dog ear meds which I was doing it [this was a issue she was having on top of her bladder issue] . And come back in for a follow up in 2 weeks to check her ears and urinating problems . Paid 355 at my first appointment 355 at this appointment. 2 weeks came around my dog has lost substantial weight I got to check her in and the nurse came to do an intake and asks questions as if we've havent been their for this same issue in the past month and a half. Talking about a urinalysis and how long has this been happening. I was mind blown! My thought was what the heck is going on. Then when they call me to say that a urinalysis is not necessary (yeah because she already had one) they then say let go with the xray it will be 400 dollars now a different price I was again lost for words how may different prices for xrays do they have? They also said they wanted to do a blood panel... why wasnt this done in the first appointment I dont know. I said ok to the blood panel and if the blood panel shows nothing we will go with the xray. Dr Gray calls me to tell me the blood panel looks fine and our next step is an xray for 400 or a ultrasound I said I dont have 6800 for an ultrasound she said 6800? No one said it was 6800 I said yes and TRIED to explain my conversation but Dr gray kept cutting me off and gas lighting me as if I was crazy saying they would never say 6800 maybe 1000 but not 6800. I at that point told her to talk to my husband and to call him because I didnt want to deal with her and hung up on her. She never called my husband so my husband called in to see if we can pick up our pet and the office staff kept picking up his calls and hanging up. So finally we got through and we were able to get our pet back after paying ANOTHER 355. Called another well reputable vet and they quoted us 80 for a ultrasound! The other vet in one day found that my pup has a bladder tumor in a spot that cant be removed and their are meds she can take to keep her comfortable for the next few days or weeks until its time for us to say good bye. Banfield had my pup suffering for more money. NEVER AGAIN! If you dont want to get taken advantage of find a vet that cares about your pet and your family not the dollar signs.

Honestly if i could give no stars i would. The only thing i liked was one of the ladys who checked in me and my dog in. However the vet tech that i had working with me was a nightmare! She wears Glasses with rhinstones on the top of her frames and she has blone to dirty blonde hair. I normally go to the banfield in Lacey because the ladies there know my baby- However i made the biggest mistake and took her to puyallups location near my job for her spade appointment so it would be easier for me to get to her if anything. I called at 7:30 and stated that i as outside they told me "oh go ahead and press the button and someone will let you in" i stated "Im sorry but My dog is a reactive dog, she has high anxiety and shes very skittis and its even stated on her chart that she would need an immediate room when she comes in due to her anxiety, her being reactive and so forth i was told when i made the appointment that they would have a room ready for her" they said "Oh yeah we can do that for you" I went to check in and had to wait over 45 minutes to even be placed into a room. Mind you others have their dogs with them and some of them kept trying to come up to my dog after i kept telling people do not walk near her.. No one listened... I had to get upset at one of the dog owners because she couldnt control her german shepard and i stated "Your dogs hair on his back is standing up. My dog has a muzzle on.. so please if you do not mind moving on the other side of the desk because you keep coming near my dog after you heard me telling someone else" so i was already annoyed with waiting almost an hour for a room and everyone just being clueless about their pets roaming. From the time i checked in the vet tech did NOT allow my dog to smell her hand at all she just came up and stated "you done with the paperwork" I stated "I just have the last page to fill out sorry" She had an attitude when she approched me. Maybe she had a bad morning. I do not know. she tried to put the band around my dogs neck (mind you my dog is a reactive dog and shes very vocal. shes only sweet to you if she knows you and you actually talk to her in a sweet tone AND SHE HAD HER MUZZLE ON) my dog was okay with her standing infront of her but when she went in and tried putting on the band around her neck after i told her that i would have to put the band on.. the tech did not listen and my dog snapped a bit. She slapped my dog a couple of times on her head and yelled at my dog saying "NO" multiple times. I looked at the tech and raised my voice a bit and said "I EXPLAINED TO YOU LET ME DO IT BUT YOU DIDNT LISTEN" she yelled back to me saying "YOUR DOG IS A BITE HAZZARD AND YOU REALLY NEED TO GET HER INTO BEHAVIORAL CLASSES BECAUSE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE" (Which trust me i understand this but you need to know my babys history before even judging her but thats no way to treat any animal. They chose this career they know what to expect but to hit my baby that is a no go) I didnt know how to feel expecially being at a vets office Its never like this with my baby in the Lacey location. They usually take their time with her and talk to her until she calms down. I raised my voice at the tech and she just got upset and walked in the back. She finally brings me in a room and talks to me and asks me if shes taken her medication for her reactiveness i stated yes she has. she kept going on about how dangerous that is and i had to stop her mid sentence and explained i understand this. This is why i tried to explain to you but you didnt want to listen to me because you probablity had a bad morning and came in and took it out on me and my baby. I can tell she gets upset and she continues the questions about my babys history. I asked her if a surgical onsie is okay for lei with a cone and she didnt really answer my question. she took the onsie for me and i stated "its kind of big but i rather it be big than to be too small" she said "yeah i was going to say this is too big. Just deal with the cone" I stated "my baby wears her outfits because shes more comfortable"
