I went in for fish. Over half of the fish tanks i peered into had many dead fish in them. Some of those tanks, the dead fish were in there so long they had started to grow mold. It was very disheartening. I'm not sure if I want to go back to this location. Usually a trip to Petco is a joyful one. This trip to this location was very depressing because of all those dead and moldy fish.

The staff at this store is great. I recently went in to purchase my regular fancy feast cat food. It took forever to find from its regular spot. It had been planogrammed back into a dark corner of the store and set on very narrow shelving. The older spot had better lighting so I did not have to struggle to see the color of the cans (which indicate if it is paté and what flavor). This is important for those of us with picky cats. Add to the lighting issue, the narrow shelving makes it difficult to grab the cans off the shelf. You have to pull an entire tray/sleeve off the shelf to grab a can because the narrowness of the shelf does not leave enough room to just grab it out of the box. It is a shame this very popular brand of cat food has been relegated to the darkest corner of the store with the least accessible shelving, so some boutique trendy brand i won't ever buy can take its place. It was annoying enough I might just go out of my way to shop at petsmart in Lacey instead. Please reconsider putting fancy feast on better shelving with better lighting.

Over a dozen fish I bought from here have all died. Twirling (typically parasitic) and fungal ich infections have caused 14 fish to die within 2 weeks. They were being quarantined and treated and still didnt make it. I see now why they're prices are cheap. You're better off paying double at Oly Petworks

I needed help finding something, and though I had three or four young girls passed by me after the page by the front desk, where I had to go to get help neither one of them even acknowledged, though they saw me standing at the end of the counter away from where you purchase where the lady asked me to stand I looked them straight in the eye, and they walked by one of them went behind the counter, took a drink and walked back. The other girl was standing over by the fish, not even helping anyone looking at her phone so no I was not impressed with your staff other than the girl at the front desk. I thought they were ill observant, unprofessional, and obviously not trained well the only ones that we’re helping people that we’re friendly and professional were the people doing the cashiering yesterday morning the blonde and the brunette that we’re over by the fish area. They’re worthless matter fact I’ll probably consider going to a different store from now on just based on the fact it’s the second time I’ve been there and those same two girls are the same too. I see doing nothing around the store.
