The Petco Vetco mobile staff were all amazing! They were polite and professional. They were understanding of my dog who is reactive. Some vet places believe it or not find it an inconvenience and that was the opposite here. I appreciated that so much. I will be using this service again in the future.

Brought my 5 year old cat, Charlie, in to update his rabies vaccine. The car ride to the clinic is about 45 mins from my house, and unfortunately Charlie does not do well both in a carrier or in the car. My poor boy peed in the cat carrier and I was kind of in my head, worrying about the car ride and Charlie, and I didn’t put a towel down in his carrier … total mom fail, and I felt awful. When we got checked in for the clinic, they were very kind and efficient. I was crying at this point because I felt so bad for my cat. When they took Charlie in for his vaccine I apologized about the pee in the carrier, and subsequently all over my cat. I was still crying. I asked if when they took Charlie if I could run the carrier to the bathroom and rinse/clean it out. They were great about it. While I was cleaning his carrier in the bathroom, they wiped Charlie down to clean him up a bit, gave him his vaccine, and then put him in a cardboard carrier, which they gave me for free. They’re normally $14.99 … I saw them on the shelf right by the bathroom and had contemplated buying one if I couldn’t get his carrier cleaned out well enough. I was given Charlie’s rabies tag, and a list of possible side effects and allergic reaction symptoms along with a list of vet offices to call if he experiences an allergic reaction. It says on that paper they will reimburse for any costs you have to pay for allergic reactions. I think that’s awesome. Charlie did have about 2 days of strange reactions to his vaccine but he’s fine now, back to normal, and didn’t require intervention, but it was a relief to me that had I needed to bring him in for it, they would’ve covered that cost. All in all, it was a really good experience using their clinic. Next time I will be more prepared for a better travel experience for Charlie.

I got what I needed done. It was a little crowded due to some tech issues and a couple appts piled up but no issues. Staff was chill and understanding even though it was probably more stressful for them.
