We had to get 2 tetras and 2 snails because he would not let us get anything else. And today the next day one of the Tetras died horrible service do not recommend buying fish here.

The woman that came out to the waiting are had a horrible attitude before I even had a chance to say anything. She was extremely unhelpful. In the short exchange I had with her I decided I wasn’t leaving my dog with someone who so clearly hates her job. Do better Petco!

- CVClarivel ValdezSep 19, 20251.0Petco needs to step up their knowledge or not fight people who know more than them. I have been keeping freshwater fish for almost 10 years now. What I’ve learned I’ve learned from experience and lots of research. I went in a week ago to buy everything to get a lobster (crayfish). Today I went to go and grab one and they did there usual what tank do you have and blah blah blah. The manager said sorry u need a bigger tank than that. And I informed the manager that I wasted a lot of money buying everything the week prior and did my research and asking tons of people what tank I needed. And that I was more then ready to care for the fish until he needed a bigger tank and he straight refused to sell me one. So now I have to figure out what do to with all the new equipment that I apparently can’t use for the fish I wanted it for. So jokes on me then cause I’m the one who loses right. Funny how petco hires new people every other week but they know more.
