  I went to this location as an "out of town" shopper. I was looking for a sucker fish for my goldfish tank. Long story short, I was beraded for the size of tank I have for 4 goldfish, denied a sucker fish, offered a snail for 12 dollars, ... the biggest problem I have is the ferret in the pen with no playmate, no toys, dull lights and is obviously in a severe depressive state. It is my understanding that these creatures are playful and friendly by nature but this lil fella was curled in ball with his eyes open... $500 to purchase this animal (aka save its life)... but I just spent my last $12 on a snail.

  Don't waste your time here. We've made the drive twice to buy fish and been told twice they can't sell us fish.

  I went in today with my child while we took a break from working as they like to look at the animals. We spotted a jumping spider in a tiny enclosure and went to the front counter to see if we could get some more info and also if we could get a closer look at the spider since it was crammed between other spiders. We wanted to add it to our collection as we already have 2 jumping spiders.The lady at the counter told me they would not show it to us unless we were for sure going to buy. Then we asked if it was male or female which apparently was annoying to the employee because she rolled her eyes and yelled at a woman in the back and asked her to which the response was "We don't know and we really don't care". So me and my child left upset. We went back in after we were done working to buy a beta fish since my kid saw one she loved from the first visit. We ended up leaving with 2 fish. During the checkout process, a male employee was asking multiple questions to which I confirmed that I know how to care for a beta, it is not my first beta fish. After he I paid and he handed me the receipt I informed him we were going to Walmart to get another tank since we only had 1 at home and petco only had giant tanks. He then replied that he should not have completed the purchase since I didn't already have the tank in my possession. The customer service on both occasions was horrible. Insted of being informative, they made it seem more like an interrogation. He asked if we had a tank with a filter and a heater that was atleast 2.5 gallons. If they really cared about their animals, then WHY are all of the betas in tiny cups with dirty water? I definitely will not be back. Walmart had a better selection and didn't have carts of random items in the aisles. Not to mention they were low on stock of most items and the store was a mess and disorganized. But the rude employee encounter not once, but twice by two different employees? That was even more concerning.

  Walked in today and I asked for 4 gold fish I was asked how big my fish tank was I said it was a 45-50 gallon fish tank he said “you can only take 2 cause they grow big” I said ok then he said what type of fish do you have in the fish tank I said they are all the same breed then he said “ohhh your at your limit then I can’t give you nun” didn’t even ask how many I have in the fish tank first off, then he walked away and left me standing there didn’t offer any other option. Definitely was a bad experience today I don’t know why they have these kind of people working there he was also rude when speaking.
