- ABAmanda BartholomewApr 23, 20261.0I have been using various Banfields for at least 15yrs. We started using this one maybe about 2yrs ago when we got a female German Shepherd mix puppy. Things have been mostly ok with her treatment, but she is a very outgoing dog. However, about a year later, we got a 15mo old full bred male German Shepherd (very large boy) who struggles with some anxiety with people he doesn't know. He's not aggressive, but he can do a low growl to let you know he's not thrilled about what you are doing. He's never bit anyone and I was fine muzzling him to make the vets and assistants more comfortable if needed. Then, they started insisting I drug him for appointments too, which just seemed to make him act out more. Today, I took him to the Lynnwood Banfield to update his shots before his Wellness plan ends and I was going to start taking him to a new vet because honestly, I did not feel he was getting great care at Banfield and during the vet's exam she informed me that my dog only had 1 testicle (he wasn't drugged or muzzled until she got super close & personal with his testicles to investigate what was going on with them btw!). How in the world did my dog go to Mill Creek Banfield for a year and they NEVER noticed this?! Oh, that's right, because they were terrified to look at a dog that was probably more scared of them than they were of him! They should be ashamed of themselves and turn in their veterinary licenses. Absolutely disgraceful! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LARGE DOGS HERE!

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
