    $10 tax on food when asked the I think assistant or possible manager was very condescending and said yep $3 tax, but I was charged $10. Maybe im missing something I am not above being wrong but apparently if you return online you're triple taxed. Would of been ok cause I'm no math mathatician and rarely return things but the employee was extremely condescending and angry I asked about the $7.77 along with the $3 of tax and embarrassed me and made a scene for asking, held her calculator out of sight said yep yep $3 yep, and walked away while I still said that's not what I'm asking I don't understand. I was asking about the $7.77 charged not the normal $3 tax. If it made sense to her I wish she could of let me in on what the charge was. The cashier I checked out with didn't know, and apparently the hostile dark haired angry employee understood but refused to explain or let me see the calculator. I thought it was ok to ask questions and that's what staff was there for but I was shamed and excused and left confused with my question unanswered. The employee had a radio made me think she was possibly management which is very alarming, she wasn't the friendly cashier I checked out with. This food is 40% cheaper at PetSmart from my receipt and understanding since the angry aggressive employee (possible manager) refused to acknowledge or answer my question and walked away on me mid sentence. I will never return to this Petco after the horrible condescending aggressive customer service and tax I can't wrap my mind around this food is normally at PetSmart is under $30 after tax not understanding why its over $40 here. If you don't understand don't ask the staff is hostile and belittling. I will never shop here again. Its totally possible I'm not understanding the tax but the customer service and response to me asking was so out of line unprofessional and unpleasant that I feel uncomfortable ever going back. I work in customer service and I would never treat someone that way. I left humiliated and confused. Ill be shopping only at PetSmart for my many animal needs, they provide friendly service and aren't above answering questions in a kind friendly way and making purchases clear and comfortable. This Petco staff is very scary and aggressive and the prices are confusingly outrageous.

    We were looking for a different OKO Cat litter than the one you had. You at least had their Original one (turquoise color). We wanted the purple one and were disappointed not to find any. We bought the other one out of desperation.

    Petco is pretty disappointing when it comes to their fish department. I consistently have to wait a long time just to get someone to help me with fish, and it always feels like they’re short staffed. It shouldn’t take that long just to get a few fish bagged. There are often quite a few dead fish in the tanks, which doesn’t inspire much confidence in the care or maintenance of the aquariums. The selection also isn’t great — they do have some fish, but not enough variety to make it worth the hassle most of the time. Overall, it’s not a great experience if you’re coming specifically for fish. There’s definitely room for improvement in staffing, tank maintenance, and selection.

    Very rude staff. Asked for assistance in aquatics and got flack from sales person. Asked them. Not to handle fish by hand and they said we do it all the time. I said u could have stuff on your hands that u aren't aware of spoke to the manager who basically ignored what I said. Poor customer service
