- CTCammy_ the_ninjaFeb 22, 20261.0I was in for a dog that has had some past issues with abuse and many behavioral factors. Up front I told them everything and hid nothing from them. The first lady who approached him, instantly went over his head before even ATTEMPTING to have him sniff her, twice. They had me muzzle him, and bring him to the table, I set him down and instead of having the dog SNIFF THEIR HAND they instantly went to grab his back end, one of them (not the main vet) said 'We need to touch his back end to get the needle in' I said VERY CLEARLY AND MULTIPLE TIMES to NOT touch his back end first, and to have him sniff you. He was already anxious because the first lady touched him over the head and scared him. Once I had set him down the main vet actually went to grab his back end when he was backing off the table as I was ALREADY doing so which made him turn cause someone else other than me touched him. He turned, and growled a little not a lot. We tried again but, again they touched his back end without him knowing they would or who they were and he freaked out. I again told them he's fine once he understand who and what you are, but they said their no familiarity or anything and he wouldn't do good and that they "Didn't want him to have a bad first experience." I got tired of arguing, and fighting them and they already made it a horrible time for him. I understand that there's stuff to do and all, but they made no effort to understand my dog needed some time, and I know they are timed but it was super slow. I am super upset with this, it was my first time and it will 100% be my last.

The clinic was very busy so they don’t really have time to discuss. I wouldn’t recommend this place for pets that are nervous and need more attention.
