If your actually in an emergency and you need people to move fast , help or do anything to make a difference in a life or death situation I would advise you to go someplace else . All they care about is getting paid first and maybe helping . I ended up walking out after paying $300 for nothing , then they called the police and made a false statement that I threatened them . NOT TRUE . THEY LIED.

Dr. Smithee was very thorough and was very transparent regarding pricing, tests, and diagnosis. He is an absolute asset to their Pet ER.

I brought my 10 yr old dog in with some sort of vaginal prolapse. On ALL the registration paperwork I clearly stated that I agreed to the consultation fees, but wanted to discuss any additional procedures/expenses. They took my dog into the back to see the vet, which was odd. Then the vet assistant told me they wanted to do an ultrasound, which they wanted me to pay for first, and estimated over $700. I wanted to talk to my husband before agreeing to this - did not sign consent form and did not pay. Then upon discharge, there was a $193 charge for the ultrasound I did not consent to. Turns out that was a miscommunication between the doctor and the hospital so they refunded that fee, the part I have a big issue with is the way the receptionists OPENLY talked trash right in front of me, saying "of course they try to get out of paying" and several other nasty and unprofessional remarks. I went to the counter and said I did not have an issue with paying for what was done, and told them to charge me then, what I understood was that since I had NOT agreed to that and had NOT paid for it, that it wouldn't have been done . Shame on those women for treating people like that, I mean they could at least wait until I wasn't sitting right there to talk trash. NEVER AGAIN will I ever bring my animals here, and I will also tell everyone I know who has pet emergencies NOT to come here. I will also share this story with our regular vet,who referred clients to come here as his practice is closed for the next week. Those 2 ladies should never be representing any business. The audacity to talk trash and not even apologize for how incredibly unprofessional they were is astounding!!! 0/10

This place is just as bad as any for profit animal hospital. When you clearly convey you don't have the ability or resources to bring your animal in right at this moment, they will give you the most fear invoking and stressful prognosis. And they will not offer any solutions to you if you can't bring your animal there. I'm not going to sue you if I'm not able to help my baby based on any informationyou give me, but I know for a fact you can do better than just say "I'm not responsible" when I'm just trying to find out if it's actually a critical situation. My cat is acting fine, he 'seemed' to not use his litter box. I'm not actually sure he didn't. But they want to ring you in, oh boy. And also make you feel stressed like you're not doing enough when you literally cannot afford to make the trip.
