I’m leaving this review after two disappointing visits to Vetco clinics in Lynnwood and Everett—both of which I’ve used in the past with no issues. This feedback is directed specifically at the clinicians, not the assistants (who were wonderful and empathetic). The clinicians at both locations showed a lack of empathy and patience toward my dogs. Imagine bringing your pet into a glass room where only the animal is allowed, separated from their owner—their source of comfort—while someone approaches them with a device. It’s a recipe for anxiety, and yet both clinicians expected perfect behavior without offering any comfort, petting,or reassurance. When my dog showed signs of anxiety, the clinicians immediately raised their hands and said they couldn’t proceed, suggesting I go to a vet. I even brought my dog under sedation the second time, and still—no warmth, no care, just a quick write-off. And then I receive the report, Skin/ Fur/ nails: Abnormal - which one is it? What are the findings, no other input. Such vague filled out form that has no basis. I am really questioning the credibility of the clinicians you work with, are they even vets? She was able to give my dog 1/4 of one of the vaccination doses but he refused to take the rest, a second has passed, Vet's hands up in the air and wrote him off. I dont know any pet likes to take any medicine from the same syringe that resembles a shot.. This is in stark contrast to my previous Vetco experiences, where clinicians took time to build trust, play with my dogs, and create a safe environment. The quality of Vetco’s newly hired vets has significantly dropped, in my opinion. I used to rave about Vetco and recommended it to friends. Sadly, I’ve now warned them instead. I hope Vetco takes this seriously and improves the training and empathy standards for its clinicians.

Such an easy appointment to make. Quick in and out vaccinations. Also comes in handy when traveling and needs grooming, boarding, or verification! You always have access to the information!

I was very appalled and disgusted by the lack of understanding and costumer service. I had an appointment at 10 am. I have a kid and lost track of time, I called them around 9:55 stating that I was running late and should be there around 10:07 according to maps and explained why. I was told on the phone that usually their cut-off is 5 minutes after the appointment start time but that it was slow enough that they could accommodate me as long as I showed up no later than 10:10. I managed to shed some time and arrive and attempted to check-in at 10:06. When I checked in, the vet clinic gal turned to her coworker and said. "What time is their appointment?" the coworker responded with "10" she then turned and continued to say "at what time did they check-in?" ..."10:06"..."at what time do we cut them off?"...."5 minutes after". Then she turned to me and said "Sorry but we need to cancel your appointment since you were late". I told her about my conversation on the phone and she was like "well that was the people at the front, they don't know what goes on back here." I told her that they had checked in with the clinic to make sure it was "OK". She then rudely said "You must be mistaken because I don't remember that." I understand I was late but I also believe the interactions were nowhere near professional and appropriate. As a costumer, it is not nice to be spoken to in a condescending tone and the back and forth between the coworkers made it seem as if I am dumb and like I as a costumer don't matter. This is not my first bad interaction at this specific location. This location in general has very poor costumer service unlike its sister location in Lynnwood.

I was concerned how my cat would respond, they were so patient and gentle with her. The young lady that checked us in was patient, answered all my questions. You were all great!
