I called the store and talked with Hazel and told her it would be 3, possibly 4 days. She didn’t think that would be a problem, and even put a note on my order stating when I would be in. I had paid online for 2 large dog beds, but when they say 3 days, they mean to the hour! About 20 mins before I got to the store, I received an automated message saying the beds had been put back in inventory, and I would get a refund. When I got to the store in Covington, the cashier told me he was unable to resell them to me at the online sales price and that I would need to reorder them online. Unfortunately, when I tried to order them online, it said they were out of stock, even though I was looking right at them. Thankfully, in steps John, who I think must be the store manager. He took me to a new register, figured out the online sales price plus additional discount that I should pay, rang up my purchase, and then carried the large beds out to my car. I have shopped at Petco for years, but was a little frustrated with that 3 day thing. John restored my loyalty with his concern and the time he took to make sure everything worked out.
