Right now I am giving a BIG FAT 1, I would give a zero if I could but I will also update when this goes up. The puppy plan is awaome, and Gina the receptionist is amazing. I know it's a group effort but it really does feel like it's almost a one man show without her, she is amazing. The down side is we have been paying the puppy package/with flea /heartworm med. So today when I arrived at 7a.m. to find out the office is CLOSED do to staffing shortage upset me. THIS isn't the first time, we also have my fur baby's sister and she was rescheduled due to the same issue. She was supposed to came in last week to be fixed, and Have hernia of repair at the same time. Due to not having enough veterinarians I guess that's what I was told they had to reschedule for 2 months out, And they also lost her DNA which last time when she came in to the office they stated they would retake the dna. But then I was told last week her DNA was supposed to be retaken once again While she was getting her surgery which like I stated will be postponed in December so hopefully they remember to do her DNA wants again cause it just keeps saying they don't know what happened to it it got lost. So now altogether 2 dogs 3 oops is Very concerning to me. I have nightblindness so driving is 7 in the morning here in Washington State in the fall it's not bright and sunny so I had a really hard time especially with these nice lovely bright headlights from the cars, due to my husband being out of town he would normally drive. So today Banfield gets a 1.

Unfortunately I had to have my beloved dog, Cricket put down today. Dr. Sampson was so compassionate and caring. She was knowledgeable in doing it well with tenderness and respect, and no pain for Cricket and I so appreciated it. With my deepest gratitude to her and the staff for giving me as much time as I needed to endure the loss of my sweet dog and helping me to endure it.

My experiences with the Burlington Banfield have been mixed. We've had some really good vets, and some not so good. My complaint today is based on their front desk staff. Unfortunately for me, our pets account is in my husband's name. I've been going to this particular Banfield for nearly a decade with multiple pets, under my husband's name, and it's never been a problem. Today my cat was suffering from a minor eye infection and the front desk staff, one of whom had allowed me to check in under my husband's name for years, refused to allow me to use my husband's account. The only reason that my husband's name is on the account is that he was there the first time we took one of our pets to the vet. Most of the time, I have been the one to bring them to the vet. No one ever mentioned that we should add me as a contact or participant on the account. This would have never been an issue, if at any time in the last ten years someone would have mentioned that I needed to be added. Their acting manager did allow me to create a new account for my cat so he could be treated, but the hostility I received from the woman who had checked me in many times before has encouraged me to find a different vet. Banfield does have some of the best prices, but inconsistency from their veterinarians and hostility from their desk staff has put me off. We will be looking for a new vet for the future.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
