Her whole vibe screams, “I’m better than you,” which is wild considering she’s ringing up dog treats and acting like she owns the franchise. I have three dogs and spend enough money at Petco to qualify for some sort of VIP parking spot, yet here I am reconsidering my Vital Care membership because one employee decided customer service was optional. As a local business owner, if one of my staff spoke to a customer the way Teal did to me, they wouldn’t be “coached”—they’d be cleaning out their locker before lunch. I’ll be thrilled to update this review the moment she’s no longer representing your company from the front line. Some people should simply not be the face of anything. Some people are background people. And that’s okay! I fully support Teal finding a nice, quiet, behind-the-scenes job where she never has to make eye contact again.
