    Both of my dog’s ears were cut and are bleeding. He seems traumatized after coming back from the groomer. Updated: I contacted the business using the phone number they provided; however, because the incident occurred approximately three weeks earlier, they stated they would not take responsibility. After multiple arguments, they insisted that we take our dog to a veterinarian but refused to cover any veterinary expenses. They also repeatedly stated that they could not find the review associated with our complaint. The only resolution they offered was a refund of the grooming fee. No accountability or concern for the injury itself was shown. If your dog is extremely calm and resilient, this groomer may be an option; however, based on our experience, our dog suffered both physical injury and emotional distress. I regret not contacting the business immediately on the day I noticed the bleeding, as we did not want to cause trouble for the groomer during the holiday season. However, the injury and the resulting trauma were real and should not be dismissed simply because three weeks had passed. That is why we ultimately decided to call—to see whether they could clean the scab or offer any assistance. Unfortunately, it appears they are unwilling to take any action.
