- GBGeorgina BrownMar 12, 20191.0Absolutely disgusting. It wasn't Petco's problem, though I did complain to them as well. I had just moved to the area and didn't have a local vet yet but my dog needed her rabies shot renewed. I understood that the vet basically did just small basic stuff. There was a line but it moved fast until one person who I timed at 30 minutes, I needed to go somewhere so I was keeping an eye on the clock. She only had one animal and should have been referred to a local vet. When I got there the vet was exceedingly rude, handled the dog quite ruffly (she only weighs just over 7 lbs). She gave her a shot in the groin. When I checked and asked if she was good now for 3 years, she said no because I didn't have proof of when her last shot was. I did have that with me but she never asked if I had it. I was beyond p----d by then and left. The next morning my dog couldn't walk!!!! I had to carry her out to potty, and she yelped when I picked her up. The next day, she was limping but it took 4 days for her to be comfortable when she was picked up. The vets are a company that is contracted to Petco, and I did complain to them, but I never received a reply or apology. This happened in the Bonney Lake, WA location.
