I love this place, they have all the things I need like crickets for my bearded dragons, mealworms that last 3 weeks, and many many other animals and supplies that you leave. People need to get stuff from the store, because it has everything.

Love the merchandise but no employee is around to find, grab, question about products, had walked out before because no one was around in any department.. multiple times. Needed at the time aquatic tanks, fish, mice, Pricing, cat nail clippers, rabbit toys, plants, and food, with no labeling..

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIPS: YEAR LONG COMMITMENT I’m really disappointed with my experience at Petco. An employee encouraged me to sign up for their membership and made it sound flexible, saying we could cancel if we needed to. What they did NOT clearly explain is that it’s actually a year-long commitment. The night before Christmas eve I was in a hurry but this employee assured I could cancel as soon as leaving. Now im stuck paying $12 a month for a year for a service I dont use. That is extremely misleading. If a membership locks you in for 12 months, that needs to be stated upfront and clearly — not brushed over like it’s no big deal. Customers shouldn’t feel pressured into something that turns out to be much harder to get out of than promised. It feels like the focus was more on selling the membership than being transparent. I would not have signed up if the commitment had been explained honestly. Be careful before signing up — make sure you fully understand the terms, because what’s said in-store may not match the reality.
