They won't let you cancel your subscription if your pet dies! You will keep getting a monthly charge to remind you of of your painful loss. Do they need to? No. Do they care? No. Straight up evil. After 9 great years I had to put my cat down earlier this month; she was the sweetest cat I'd ever owned. Obviously I was heartbroken. The staff at Banfield were wonderful throughout the death process. This 1 star review is for the corporate ownership who clearly only care about the bottom line and not a grieving pet owner. I had been on the Wellness + plan for years as my cat needed occasional dental work, which just renewed in November. When I contacted Banfield to cancel the policy after my cat died, they told me I needed to pay the remaining 9 months of the Wellness Plan, despite the fact that my cat is no longer alive to be seen and treated. I was flabbergasted - their reasoning was because I had used the plan benefits (procedure discounts, office visits) for 3 months, so I needed to pay the full plan amount. I obviously wouldn't have signed up for the full year if I knew my cat was going to die so soon. To top it off, my cat was too sick to receive any dental care so I never used the "Plus" part of my plan. I asked if they would at least lower the regular Wellness plan but apparently their "system doesn't allow that". I feel taken advantage of in a time of grief. When your pet dies, it feels evil to keep charging grieving owners for services they obviously won't be using. Now I'll get a painful reminder of my loss every month when I see the monthly Wellness charge hit my credit card. I understand this is a business and cancelling a plan would normally require paying the full year, but the death of a pet feels like this should be an obvious exception. I'm leaving my multi-year experience with Banfield with a very sour taste and I do not recommend anyone give their money to this company; it's clear they will do anything they can to suck more money from you before you go.

Husband given meds for my dog that were not indicated. He thought it was for heart worm, it was actually a syringe for hook worm and round worm. Dog is already on Sympatica Trio from this vet office, which covers worms. The dog was dewormed by the rescue. The clinic said they did not find worms in his stool. I did not get a clear answer as to why this was given. I also got no record of the vaccination and what was done during the appointment. I do not recommend this vet. I am disappointed because I had a really good experience the first time I brought him here.

Thank you to all the wonderful team at the Bellevue location. When we showed up at the groomers , we realized we didn't have our rabbi shot updated. The team here got my puppy in immediately for her vaccine. Not only that , each of them , we're so friendly and loving , and it's hard to come across this kind of service nowadays. Itty Bitty thanks you and so do I.

I waited 2–3 weeks for my puppy’s first check-up appointment, only to find out it wasn’t even in their system. I was really frustrated, and the girl at the front desk was quite rude — she only said “sorry” and nothing more. The way she spoke made us feel like she didn’t believe we had even made an appointment. Unfortunately, the person who originally booked it for us wasn’t there today. I decided to give this place a try because of the Puppy Guide coupon, but I’m very disappointed with the service. If they can’t even handle something as basic as keeping an appointment, I honestly don’t know how they’d handle pets properly — especially in an emergency.
