Last time we were there in early March and spent over $200 for some vaccines. 6 weeks later, she need Heartgard and Banfield will not approve it. She needs a hearth worm test which needs to pay the test+ vet visit. Why they didn’t mentioned back in March? They did similar thing few times. I feel robbed

This most recent was so bad that I’ll be pulling my 6 animal account and looking for another place immediately. We have rescues/fosters so we are in and out of the vet fairly often, and I just can’t do this anymore.

- JGJamie GreenJun 28, 20201.0My dog has a medical emergency and this was the only place I could get an appointment on short notice. I bring her in and the lady I worked with wasn't very friendly. She made me feel like an inconvenience being there. After 3 hours, all they did was blood work - no urine sample drawn and no vaccinations were administered. They charged me $282.07 for basically babysitting my dog. Now, I have to drive 1.5 hours to a veterinarian out of state, just to get the right care IN A TIMELY MANNER for my dog. I won't be going back here. They overcharge and seem to have no clue what they're doing. I can go to the vet 1.5 hours away and get everything completed within 30 minutes. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND OVERCHARGING IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS MODEL.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
