First, a girl working could not tell two customers if a bearded dragon needed a standing water dish or a hamster dropper, while standing IN the reptile aisle. I had to intervene and give the customers the education required for such a well-known animal. Second, whoever the manager was made me wait for over half an hour to get crickets and continually argued with me and was super snide. Older guy with brown/grey hair, beard and glasses. He spent a lot of time trying to track down one of his own employees to do it when he could have just done it for me, complaining the entire time. He’s twice my age and I felt like I needed to be gentle with his feelings or something. When I finally got my crickets since he literally refused to do it, and had to check out with him, he started arguing with me about why he couldn’t get the crickets himself. I didn’t start the conversation and finally just stopped talking to him and stared at him, because I haven’t ever experienced someone who seems to go out of their way to be bad at their job like this before. The store is a joke.

If you ask for some help you are made to feel like you are a pain. Both of the female workers, one with long hair and one that is heavier, the two most rudest women I have ever met. Zero stars! Petco responded. Petco. Please go and look at that stores selection, it has a lot of empty shelves. ALOT! I’ll snap some pictures and post them here so you can see. Employees are extremely rude. Hopefully you have had a discussion with them as well.
