- MDMatthew Demaree6 days ago1.0Just got a bag of Natural Balance for our dog and it was infested with Indian Mealmoths. If you recently bought dry goods from this store please be sure to inspect the food before feeding to your pets. You may see what looks like spider webs inside the bag or what appears to be maggots but they are just moth larva. While they are not technically harmful the can be a pain to remove out of your home. If this bag was this infested than other bags at this location are surely affected. There was another Petco in Lynchburg recently that had the same issue. Also, if you see moths in the store near the dry food be sure to tell the staff and purchase your dry dog food somewhere else for a while. This really shouldn't be an issue these days but apparently still is.
